In all honesty I did get busy with work and then it was my strategy to try to get a team name change by not being in finals lol 😂 without have to play to intentionally lose. Which we see how that panned out lololol

putting aside the need for some initial physical attraction, honestly, that's what sucks IMO with being too focused on looks....if that's your thing, I suppose you can't change it, but especially w/life expectancy steadily increasing, you're going to live a good portion of your life, and presumably your marriage, outside of your prime physically....the mental/emotional just lasts way longer and I'm glad that is how I'm wired....maybe I'm being idealistic, but I think I would probably love my partner more, if they became horribly disfigured, simply because they'd need it.... click to expand

Dolled up for the event and the Taurus’ reaction was priceless-could not stop staring. Went to the party, we had a blast.
There were no issues except some guy getting handsy with my sister. Taurus was about to step in before I could, but she handled it. He made a comment about how he needs to protect his circle and how she’s now a part of it (a la me).
Left the party early and he offered to drop me off home. He brought up how a friend of mine asked him if he was seeing anyone. He said no. Conversation followed:

V: But you told him no

It was the gist of the conversation, there was a lot more talking than that mixed with some playful banter. He had a bad experience with telling a girl he liked her once; it was pretty traumatic for him so I knew he’d never fully admit it first. If you want the romance we did discuss the subtle things we noticed about each other that attracted us to one another without the other knowing like "remember that one time when you...". A confession of sorts. How would you have gone about it?
