Thank you all my dears!! I have selected the outfit I will wear tonight (very casual but still feminine - OMG Nic, its black and white!!!), spoke with him on the phone for about an hour last night and OMG his voice!!! yikes here I go LOL OMG he can talk so much!!!

dont blame yourself for acting the way you did- our past determines our actions, we can only do something about it when we realize that our fears and complexes may destroy our present relationships- so ur on the good path.
Its never too late to start acting the way you want to act- you dont have to operate between black and white- there are many tones of grey- you can call the guy once every 2 weeks for example.. or just when you feel like it. just be spontaneous and dont worry too much. It seems that at the mo' u think you've got nothing to lose- so I guess its te best moment to try new things... like being 'somewhere in between'- even if it doesnt work for now, it can help you create a healthy relationship in the future.. none of us is perfect, we all have our weaknesses- the less of them we have, the more we can handle- one day we can become strong enough to help our partner to overcome their fears, if they need it... Our strength is within our reach. Good luck
