Posted by Ram416Not everyone with compulsive behavior/eating disorder/hypersexuality is bipolar either, so what's your point? I said main visible symptoms, not in an absolute sense. As I stated above there's no black and white, rather than thousand shades of "different"Posted by pisceanlovesNot everyone with bipolar disorder exhibits drastic mood swings.Posted by halalbaeBipolar disorder and anxiety may not be adjectives for either of that but drastic mood swings and feeling so powerful/restless/helpless certainly are the main visible symptoms person with this so called "condition" exhibits. Also there's never clear line what is normal or "abnormal", what degree of "abnormality" is acceptable or puts you in "mentally challenged" category. And it will always be lot more complex no matter do we write paragraphs in here or say only a few words. I don't see the point to go any deeper tbhPosted by pisceanlovesBipolar disorder and anxiety arent adjectives to describe strong emotions and hormonal shifts. Its far more than being the stereotypical fatuous extra moody, extra temperamental, and not being able to handle any small inconvenience without being set off, etc
I don't consider anxiety or bipolar disorder as a mental illness. Strong emotions doesn't mean your mind is in a wrong place, in fact quite opposite. I don't know what do you mean by "weird", who told you that you are weird?
Bipolar disorder is complex but its like bouts of disassociation where someone basically disconnects from their own feelings/personality and reality itself mainly because they try to escape their feelings. It usually results in hypersexuality, compulsive and hostile behavior, destruction. Thats not just being moodyclick to expand
