Five trends

Well, Michael, sure this may apply to a section of people. But what percentage ? I really dont know. And dont you think that its a given fact that people may differ in their perceptions of identity, tastes and philosophies ? And these trends are always transient in nature and not necessarily orthogonal. I,personally, am moving away from parochialism. But yes there is no guarantee what future event and experience may transform this thought as well. I strongly feel that we really cant talk of numbers when trying to measure the general pulse of the movement of civilizations. When analysed year on year,the whole process of evolution may look too erratic and random. But perhaps if we look at the forces of change as a vector resulting from perhaps decades of conflicting movements of human thought and action, then you may hope to discover a "state" which looks so finely designed.
I really dont know what people want. I dont know what my parents wanted ( apart from known basic things ) and whether it had any tangible impact on such macro movements. I dont know what my friends want or whether they are intellectually aware of what their needs and wants are and what kind of implications their action/inaction might have. And I dont know what I want. Sure , entertainment is one.

True for myself. Love can melt much of the resistance, though. Inherently, I dont like stability and prolonged spells of relative peace and prosperity ( with me being the center ) because it adds to the pressure of delivering consistently on all dimensions which means that I wouldn't be getting enough space and spare energy to explore things unknown. Keeping one person happy all the time is a difficult proposition for sure. And a woman has to exploited into believing that shez happy, a trade which we Aries are not adept at unfortunately.

Yes, I am fully aware. Am always plotting a rebellion even when forced to stay quiet.

I have been accused of this a number of times. But it has more to do with my inability to detect and process the subtle. Am too occupied or too helpless.

I dont think so. Am not looking for an anchor but a crusader. But why would she come to me ?

That a male has to do in order to succeed in relationships. I really dont know how to strike a balance - one moment I may go overboard with genuine love,support and admiration almost bordering slavery, and the next I am your next cage Gorilla. I feel that permanence of any form ( including sentiments ) would rob me of any chance of staying objective. One change which I have brought about in myself is to criticize in mute and to express displeasure as a newsreader would - in a dispassionate manner.

"If he isn't ready than he won't be until he is over her. You cannot rush these guys into anything. If he isn't emotionally available, then he won't be until he decides to be. There is nothing you can do for now" OH YEAH, just get on with life and maybe he'll turn around one day (and this could be 6 months or 6 years), and you'll still be available...who knows? but dont sit and wait for him, he'd not appreciate that either.

....I have been trying to remain friends with my Libra for the past 2 months...he's been luke warm and cold but today I tried one more time and sent a text and OMG 5 minutes later he sends the most inspiring text in return and gave me plenty of hints that we'll be catching up in the new year....these guys are totally unpredictable and I now believe it when everybody says it takes them forever to figure out what they really want.....I think at the end of the day, those who continue to be there through thick and thin will retain their respect and most of all, their love...i think it takes an amazing woman to handle one of these wishy washy men...they also know it!!! THATS why they take so damned long to make up their minds....just my $ 0.02 worth. In my case, I really just want to remain friends as I dont think i could go back to the FWB thing and maybe not even a r/ship if he were to want one....but OMG when they are your friend??? that is so wonderful
