Technical question : For the first time I seem to be getting a flirt response from a Libra female. I'm curious whether the so famous libra-aqua match is the rule. I have the impression from the above as well as judging from me and other libras that the attraction has also a lot to do with physical beauty as well. Ok I admit I'm not like Mat Daemon so how is this supposed to work taking also into consideration that a libra needs constand attention and sharing otherwise she may flirt to another direction ?

In an e-mail last night I told my new guy that I was a Scorpio, but didn't consider myself a typical Scorpio and I asked my Cap if he thought of himself as a typical Capricorn and he actually got all bent out of shape about it and started talking about how you shouldn't base anything on astological bull crap and how we are our own creators. blah blah blah!!! I was like jeez I was just trying to make conversation. (I didn't say that to him, I just thought it)
I tried to diffuse the situation. I wrote back to him that I get his frustration with it because I have had men not want to go out with me just because I was a scorpio and that I just think that it is fun to read, but that it's not good to put too much stock into it. Then I quickly changed the subject to something else and I have not had a response back from him yet. We had been e-mailing back and forth all day long every hour prior to that. Could that possibly be a dealbreaker for him? If so, what a weirdo!!! I hate it when people have no flexibility for any opinion but their own and try to make you feel like an idiot for having a different opinion about something.

Attraction has a lot to do with physical beauty. So when a libra starts flirting with you, stop wondering if you look like matt daemon or whoever. You have passed that exam already bcoz libra started the flirting game. Next is intellectual barrier. Which am sure an aqua can win easily. Then comes her expectations of being with you 24x7. this is where aquas screwup. they are sometimes not available which makes the libra thinks they are trying to run away. So tackle that.
Or the fact that you were emailing each other all day then he didn't respond could be the dissapering act that the cap guys do!! They do seem to come and go as they please.
I do not however want to be too negative about the cap men, they have alot of positive aspects to them, they are very sexy and are able to draw you in, they just seem to get really close and then go missing and do not contact you for long periods of time, then they come back as though nothing has happened.

As a seperate note, my ex was a scorpio - great people they have alot to give in relationships, I am a leo and we got on like a house on fire, the only downside to him was his over possesiveness and jealousy.

hmmm...are you maybe being a bit judgemental here UC? I mean really...just because a man/woman hugs another does not mean he/she is a "flirt" or will be disloyal to a mate. And, a man who "seems" to be serious does not in any way shape or form tell anyone that he is "selective" in choosing a mate and that he will be loyal. Serial killers have been known to exhibit these types of traits.
It seems to me that you may be projecting your thoughts...maybe this is how you are?

I think it is really risky to bring up astrology with any guy you're interested in, let alone early on in the dating. It tends to make you look like a typical female or even "kooky/out there". It's just not worth it until you know the person better and have a sense of their interests/values, etc.
