It was amazing, beautiful and yet the scariest thing I have ever experienced. It was very spiritual. I was just 18 at the time so I didn't know what ego death was so that was a bit too much for me, which is why I want to try again some time.

But the second time I was in the comfort of my own home with someone I felt comfortable being extremely vulnerable and safe with. And I have very deep insecurity, had this almost all my life. I am a giver, but a bit too much of a giver sometimes. Almost martyr-like, sacrificing myself for someone while it's not even necessary. It's weird.

Maybe neediness comes from some predisposed or learnt lack of security or neglect, that either does or does not reflect your current reality. It’s difficult to offer specific solutions to a general problem.
I do know that scorp risings generally have a tendency towards repressing their desires like it’s somehow weak to show that you need what you need from people.
The part I quoted, is extremely accurate. I am quite surprised actually, never read that before about scorpio risings.
Being a pisces with a capricorn moon (mother not capable of giving love) might contribute to it as well.
