Thinktank, you are doing the right thing by letting go. He isn't ready for what you want and you can see after a year and a half, it doesn't look like he will be. Yes, he will need to get over what the two of you did have... Librans love on so many levels. It doesn't mean he was "in love with you and saw you as his life partner" however, they can love you and value you in their life especially when you have been intimately involved and it was genuinely liked.
