What you do? When he is at work, you do your work. ONLY AFTER HE IS DONE WITH HIS WORK AND SATISFIED THAT HE CAN RELAX WITH YOU.
On our second official date, he worked for the whole day, until late in the evening. I was like you but then after a while made myself busy with my office work. So we both worked at our work places while on an official second date!!! That day the date got cancelled, did happen one more time and THEN we met!!!
Both love our work so there were bit anger bit no major complains.
They will not change when it comes to WORK :-).
