My friends can do as they pleases. I don’t judge them for their choices. They come and go and come again. A friend is like family to me. I don’t need them to be perfect or give me what I need. You are my friend and that’s it.

Hmm, hard to say. You never really described what happened to make him start acting differently towards you.



Depending on what happened he might not be answering calls/texts because he's upset if not actually busy. If that's the case, you should give him a little time but do try to contact him still cause then it'll show that you do value whatever you have between the two of you and he might come around.



Even if he's busy, there's always time to talk on the phone for a little bit if you don't have the time to meet up in person.



Has he made any effort to contact you at all?



As far as myself, if I'm not interested I wouldn't bother to maintain contact at all and I'd be very brief with communicating and giving like one-word or short responses and not bother to keep a conversation on the phone or in person going at all.

He literally is losing someone who means a lot to him to Cancer, and you're over there trying to seek attention and talking out of your ass.

I'd ghost you if you had the nerve to text me "oh so you dumped me" days after I told you I'm about to go into that kind of stress.

He said he would call when he knew more, instead of waiting, you went into needy mode. You're ridiculous. You say you understand his need for space, but if he doesn't respond, you say even more stupid stuff. All because you expect attention from him while he deals with his family member having cancer.

Hi everyone,

I've been with my cancer bf for two months, i am libra. We moved pretty fast, on the 3rd date he asked me to be his gf, he intoduced me to his 12yr old daughter as his gf. We had a lovley evenling on the 16th Auguest.

Satuarday the 17th August was the last time i spoke to him he said his cousin been diagnosed with lung cancer and he needs to go to Newcastle to see her and his cousin husband, he said they were the only ones who were their for him when his sister died of Aids a couple of years ago and if it wasn't for them he doesn't know where he would be they helped him alot.

I told him i understand be with your family, and said to him should we stop our relationship , he said let me sort this out and he will call me when he gets to Newcastle when he knows more about his cousin. He didnt call, so i sent him a message saying i understand you need space, am hear if you need me, you got this. No reply that was Sunday the 18th August. Monday i sent him another text still nothing, then on Tuesday i said to him it looks like you have dumped me, still nothing, on the weds i tried calling he texted me back staright away and said he can't talk his at the hospital so i said to him ok, and said to him you can call me any time night or day even if im supporting you has a friend he said thank you hun.

I left it a week and on Tuesday 27th Aug i called and no reply then i texted him later that day to say i understand your not ready to talk but i'm here, no reply.

My question is do i just move on, or do you think he will come out of his shell? 

When we first started talking he did say if he has a problem he likes to hid until its sorted out.

His 47 and i'm 42.
