Listen to her and try to keep things light. Ask her to hang out for coffee or something one day. Keep it light for now until she feels more comfortable. She just needs things to go slow , dont talk about forever, talk about the now, and let it naturally develop.

Personally I dont like to open up about my emotions. Taurus are very stable and reserved when it comes to that stuff usually, cause they like to stay in control. It may not be a bad sign. Just be honest with her and tell her you're willing to be patient. Dont worry over this, just talk to her, she has no reason to lie to you.

If I was very sick, or if I thought I'd become a burden to those i love, I'd consider it. My dad used to say to me "if I become a pain in the arse or a burden, shoot me or give me a cynide pill lol. Love that mindset and I've adopted it too.
