No it’s not that, in fact I would probably trust this new guy more than my ex. My ex was all words and went off whatever he was feeling at that present moment. My new guy friend is much more subtle and doesn’t like to make the first move unless you do.
Also I was comparing them both because they are both cancers. My experience with one cancer has been different to this cancer.
Ya cancers love bomb. But that’s usually when they want something.
New guy doesn’t want a relationship. Sounds like he has his job as priority and dates to find his equal.
I get what he says when he wants someone to be as successful as him or have finances.
Cancer needs security and stability and won’t parent an adult.
My ex was the biggest liar ever, he apparently loved me and I was the best girl he’s ever dated (ended up cheating on me and stalked me after the break up for a year)
This new one is very much like me, he’s independent and career focused which is exactly how I am. The only thing is I’m a Pisces so I wasn’t looking for love at all but then when I got involved with him sexually I kind of got distracted. He likes that I’m independent and I am always busy but now I feel like I have to keep that up when really all I want to do is just be cuddled up with him all day and call in sick from work. I know I need to get a grip lol. I just hope that this one works out because I really do like this one he’s very much like me and I know if I don’t rush things and give it time he will appreciate it so let me just go with the flow and enjoy

This works sometimes. But once we have goals and we steadfast in it forget all dat lovey dovey shit. If you really interested in him support him in what he doing. Cancers love dat once u genuine . If he was really into u he would check up on u and take u out. Romance u. But he being cautious, very cautious.

That's stupendous... I'm fighting the inactivity of the 40's weight creep up.
I could only imagine. I would have so much fun. My husband only wanted one kid, I wanted four. The compromise was two. Now, I'm doting on a miniature yorkie and hoping to adopt.
