Why do people do this? And how do you diffuse the situation when they pull it on you?
Why do they do this? The reasons make no difference. Some neuroses present this way and the person at the receiving end of it engages with the person dishing it out at their own peril. Some folks do it deliberately, while others can’t help themselves. The response should probably be the same: polite and compassionate behaviour (that one would give to anyone else) without any bonding. If at all possible these people are to be avoided.
I told the person not to do anything bad and that I don’t think our friendship is appropriate at this time. Is that a good response?

I do love libra moons better than libra sun.
same. every libra sun friend ive made has had zero conviction, or concept of loyalty.
i have 8 libra moons in my wider friend circle & i luv them all dearly. they are thoughtful, attentive, & gentle w/ harsh realities. they never hesitate to reach out when thinking of you & always offer a hug if they feel you need it. they wanna make sure everyone is comfortable.

He’s much easier to be around then Libra suns so far. I just checked yes his sun squares his moon. He hasn’t seemed wishy washy at all. But it’s early. Lol I’m not shady, but water signs have a lot of trouble with me because they can’t read me.

So That's a fair statement. If I were to guess, with just those placements and no house info, the kind of person they would hold there attention would need to keep them on thier toes and engaged in some way. Wether it's being that kind of person themselves or down to join them in that fashion. Especially if they don't have that kind of stimulation outside of a personal relationship.
Look someone's chart can elude to certain qualities in a person yet how they express it is personal preference. You can be a total egore wanting to taste the rainbow or you could be a anthropologist🤷♂️
In relationships difference aren't a big deal so long as your on the same page. Not much can't be hashed out. It depends on the level of effort, mindset, and willingness of the people involved.
Side note: I know a Venus taurus, cancer mars, & gemini Mercury. When the love someone they always will, regardless how things turn out.

If anyone actually listened to all of this and doesn’t realize what problems this woman has, there might be something off with you as well. I would leave too if I had someone trying to push me into fighting all the time. I don’t want to fight who I love. Fighting is a last recourse for me only when I have to. Drama drama drama. She’s a real piece of work though. Someone whose looks have truly gotten them everywhere in life. He has his own faults attracting such dramatics. Change yourself and you change who you attract. He’s obviously not wanting to be a part of the fighting and I don’t blame him. I leave too when someone’s talking crazy abusive shit—why would someone stay??? But yeah ultimately it’s his fault in continuing it. Leave for good or shut up. We make our own worlds.
