A Night(s) at the Opera #5: Young and the Restless

Jill is very frustrated with David’s attitude at work. Lauren and her mother discuss Paul, and Lauren’s relationship with him coming undone. Meanwhile Paul’s mother tries to warn him off Cassandra seeing as she is married to George. George gets the bad news from his doctor that he has a terminal illness. What causes an argument between Jack and Jill? Who does Lauren go on a date with as she tried to get over Paul? Cassandra wants to be with Paul, but how will George handle the news of his illness?

Paul was the sharpest dressed detective I've ever seen.

Why did Paul and Lauren break up? Was it because of the very married Cassandra or some other reason?

Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Fenmore were quite the meddling pair...Mrs. Williams in particular was quite crafty at laying the guilt trips.

*sips tea* Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....the snark from David. He seems bothered by the fact that Jill was simply breathing in his direction lol. Then there is Jack....*living for the 1989 shade*.

The fact that David is still sulking about the "break-up" means Jill either has mad bedroom skills or he's pissed because the potential gravy train is heading in a different direction.

Is Cassandra more worried about Brittany finding out she is having an affair with Paul or is she huffing and puffing because she thinks Paul will leave...? Regardless she needs to have a seat. Or get a divorce. Already.

Lawd, not here for Lauren dumbing herself down by calling herself a "girl" and acting "helpless/lost".

Why is George's medical diagnosis still a secret? The build up to nothingness.

Sucks to be George. He thinks Cassandra will be devastated at the thought of losing him to his mysterious diagnosis, while she's more worried about losing Paul's peen.

Jill's signature forehead scratch....funny how it has evolved from a nervous gesture to indications of her frustration and annoyance.

Chase...snake or shrewd?

Side note: Jill's hair was everything and Terry Lester was a much better Jack Abbott than Peter Bergman
