This country will go through a time of dismantling government and a new one will takes its place except spirit will go back into it. Every problem you see in politics today can be traced to a destruction of the family unit and fundamental flaws in our banking system. Politics successfully used racism to make one race feel superior in order to disguise the slavery of both races, one now and both later.
Or maybe family values has been fake the whole time and instead of covering up messes like they used it’s now all coming to light and being addressed.
Same argument used for black people... "the destruction of the family unit" and of which, I do not agree.
My view is extremely controversial... but, I will say this
look at the history... child labor, child support, doweries, mistresses, orphanages, etc. There's nothing new.
We had to adapt a better way and reinvent what family really is to include many different types of families.
I'd take it so far to say that "family values" is just conservative red meat.
Family Values near universally means a household that is nuclear, oppressively straight, biologically linked, and adheres to strict gender roles that are often misogynistic in nature.
It is yet to be foreseen what @Chancellor means when he references "family values" but the presence of the dog-whistle is not awe-inspiring.
I am definitely a conservative. Make no mistake about it. I get to choose to be that in this glorious country and I love capitalism too.
However, there is no reason to be left in the dark about what you think is unseen because I just said so in an earlier post. I said that a family unit should consist of a stable father and mother present in the home. And gender roles aren't oppressive. When men love women people like you get to be born. Don't hate yourself, now.click to expand
Posted by VenusAquariusLol... I can at least appreciate that you're respectful. But it's not a pipe dream. This is still the norm and majority way of doing things. The LGBT nonsense keeps trying to sneak their way into race matters and they are diluting the cause. Children develop their confidence in the first 7 years of their life and that cannot be done in an unstable home environment.Posted by ChancellorPosted by IxiPosted by VenusAquariusPosted by LittleStar_IIPosted by Chancellor

My emotional experience actually isn't a point of contention in this conversation. I'm filled with self-love and deep self-care and compassion. Thank you for the concern though.

You said a bunch of nice things but what can an unstable unit do to teach any of those things? And our country is not secular. It's very much Christian. Don't believe me? What year is it? People want to remove God and the Bible from government and it is the very problem that is causing our climax of destruction!click to expand

Posted by VenusAquariusWhen i hear the word culture... my brain starts to give errors - cause such a grey area... I mean, on the positive side... cultures can be interesting, and quite delicious to... THO, on the negative side - it's also the most evil human concept (all things consider). That term is indeed part of your issue... after all it's part of around 90% conflicts - starting with first human tribe who did some things a certain way - till it became their culture... and then they found another tribe - with a different culture they didn't agree with and thus... the first cultural conflict/battle/war started.Posted by nevesPosted by VenusAquariusPosted by Antiphates
I think it comes down to a personal decision. Some might feel forms of guilt and others don't. Both cases have potential to be problematic.
It's a private choice everyone makes for themselves and neither side of the political spectrum has much right to demand that people take the choice those parties deem right.
Who is asking for "guilt?"
We want change. And, for it to stop.
Check the 1st video.
Maybe your intents are righteous (for racial prejudice and unjustified violence - to stop), but it's naive to expect the same from everyone. My point is... there is no "WE" - there's just you an others alike (in terms of THINKING - not skin color). And others alike are not defined by the color of your/their skin. The majority might agree with you - even if they don't share the same skin color, but certain people be - of any color (even similar) - have their own personal agenda. Believe it or not - there are people with same ancestry - who find joy and are the cause of other people's suffering. Even if there's an equal amour of saints and devils in this world - it will always feel like there's more devils (pain/suffering stands out more than justice or happiness).
Me and others alike is implied.
Evil still exists... as always.
But, being black is not just skin color... it's also culture... which has also been attacked.click to expand
