I don’t think August is hurt at all. Lol I think he used this “entanglement” as a publicity stunt to promote his album. I think Jada was used and doesn’t even realize it. That’s just my opinion.
HOWEVER.. when he had said “I’ll get you back” and she said “you already did” that makes me wonder if it’s one of those situations where they have both cheated and they both know they’re not enough for each other, but they hold onto what’s familiar and continue to try to “one-up” each other.. which is toxic as hell. They are definitely not “relationship goals” for me.

Posted by smolWhat'll you mean thirsty? Like thirsty for dramas with Taurus? I get that now as a Gemini that's why I'm trying to stay out the way. If that's what you mean.Posted by Jumpin_JupiterPosted by smolPosted by Jumpin_JupiterPosted by smol
Nope. I believe in reincarnation and my dream is to be born again as Pisces man. Preferably American, Californian.
And I was just gettin ready to say something similar to this too. Was just waiting buying my time to see who was gone say this.
I was gonna say I wanna come back as a Taurus and if I could live forever my answer to this question would be no. I want to live as long as I can and still have all my limbs and functioning. If all my original body parts ain't good for nothing I feel it's time for me to go. My back already gone. Can't get that back.
To be fair, i would reconsider to live forever with my lifelong memories as Californian Pisces man rather than risk it just to be born again as Capricorn man in a s#ithole Country.
But for now, i have nothing to lose.
I've seen quite a few folks on here talk bad about Taurus especially if their relationship fall down in a loophole with one but that's not gonna stop me from risking my chances at being born again as a Taurus.
USA ain't no better to be honest. We got crazy people fucked up in the head down here you wouldn't imagine possible. Starting with our crazy president being one of them. If I had the money I'd get the fuck out of America for somewhere like Antigua. And if it's possible I'd move to another planet with this coronavirus thing going around.
What country you in?
USA is okay, but California is still amazing and they are against Trump.
By they way, prepare yourself for thirsty Cardinal sign women, especially Libras, once you become Taurean.click to expand

Wow .. and you don’t feel sick? This virus is strange indeed. Hope you get better soon
Posted by tizianiI think it ended before 2000 cuz I dont remember Grant on the show in 2000. Steve Owen was more of the person that was a thorn in Phil''s side by then.Posted by AfternoonDelights22Posted by tiziani
The best of Eastenders, for me, was Phil vs Grant
Thats before my time but hopefully findable during this process
The climax of it was 98ish-2000 no?
I can't remember well (I'm no big Enders fan) but I grew up on that run they had together. You never knew if they would team up to kill other people, or kill each other.click to expand
Posted by _DazedOk so a policy that any president leaves behind is simply stuck forever regardless if it's considered to do more harm than good in the future? That doesn't sound right.. but sure educate me.Posted by Enfant-Terrible-IIPosted by _DazedPosted by Enfant-Terrible-IIPosted by _DazedPosted by Enfant-Terrible-IIPosted by _DazedPosted by Enfant-Terrible-IIPosted by _Dazed
You forgot this part..
"Also, while the United States is not a fascist country, it does have fascist roots and a conservative party that uses fascist technique to corral it's base. Were it not for a constitution that separates and checks branches of government, Fascism could have easily taken hold in the US."
I didn't forget it, I figured I addressed how the fascism is irrelevant to my argument and quoted the part that covers it as not to confuse what Im addressing.
And you can say that about any democracy on this planet. "Were it not for this constitution/piece of paper/whathaveyou facism could easily have set its root" .
I'd argue that the Democrats and the leftist media as wind in the sail with the fake news, fear-mongering and race baiting of present day, is a more urgent threat to democratic values and the black communities than fascism.
News, fearmongering, etc.. are opinions that one can choose to believe or ignore.
I understand that you may not follow politics in the US as closely as I do, but my concern is at the judicial level where laws are interpreted. Judicial appointments are being made in record time under Trump and being filled by those with ideals based in nationalist and fascist beliefs. Laws and supreme court decisions that effect real lives.. not talking head media outlets I can turn off. Our courts are not the place for far-right ideologies. Judges are supposed to be impartial, middle of the road.
I've stated here many times before that I don't watch too much news media. Most of my days are spent watching CSPAN to witness with my own eyes the testimony in judiciary committees and US Supreme Court rulings. What I'm seeing is a far bigger threat than any protest could be.
What fascist beliefs, exactly? Hasn't the type of fascism you're talking about always been present in domestic US politics, and sort of accepted by the public? What's new now? That Republicans are in office and not the Democrats?
"News, fearmongering, etc.. are opinions that one can choose to believe or ignore."
So you acknowledge that news are basically opinions at this point? And which side owns most of the media space in the US? The president doesn't sway public opinion, mainstream media does and the way things are going that's a far greater threat to democracy and free speech than Trump.
What about liberal fascism, shut-down culture and the war on free speech in universities around the country and in the media?
And you're telling me a couple of MAGA hats on the far right who no one even takes seriously is what's wrong with America today?
So, no... you cannot just choose to shut off and pretend it isn't there, " believe or ignore". If the alt.right was the mainstream narrative in the media climate I could tell you the same, "shut off and ignore it". Could you?
Completely ignoring where my fear resides.. the Judicial branch of government in the US (where impartiality should reign supreme) , and instead focus on the media (which I've stated I don't watch much of).
It doesn't matter that YOU don't watch media. The rest of the population does. Public opinion is not dictated by the White House, it hasn't been for a single day during the Trump administration.
And if you don't watch the media, if not necesserily for the content and the honesty, but for how things are spun, then you can't possibly have the full picture.
I tried unwinding from it all.. but unless you're gonna live without internet in the outskirts of society somewhere there's no avoiding having contrieved narrative of of the progressive left shoved down your throat.
We simply disagree about where the real power lies. Trump is not forever.
You don't understand what the branches of government in the US are or how they work, do you? Is that why you're avoiding that aspect and why media isn't my concern?
I understand in the broadest sense, it's been like 20 years since we covered US government, but I get the three branches of gov. and their basic function, I understand how you apply fascism to your argument in that sense .. it's just that I don't see the potential for long-term damage there, not in today's political climate. Unless him & his policies can somehow stay relevant forever. And they can't.
His [Trump] policies can't, but Supreme Court [Judicial Branch] decisions can. Would you like me to expand on that?click to expand
Posted by MetatronLamont Hill just spews whatever talking points he gets from the dem national committee, or lefty issues of the day. He doesn't say anything innovative or special.Posted by WitchmitchAries
I watched this a few days ago and enjoyed it. A conservative friend sent it to me, claiming that Owens "destroyed" Marc Lamont Hill in debate, but I think Hill had the better of the exchanges. Overall its an informative and respectful dialogue, other than maybe the gender discussion, a good entry point for anyone unfamiliar with both sides of these issues.click to expand

Ah yeah, I did enjoy Steve going at it with Phil and others. He had a lot of sides to him, without really needing to say anything in a scene. Just a look from him was enough to know he's up to ten different things at once.click to expand

How do white people find a way to turn this around to being about them? This movement has nothing to do with white people! Stop with that alllivesmatter bullcrap. Trust me, I understand your stance that things should be inclusive. No one should look at color. But the reality is that has gotten nowhere. There are always going to be people who think that way. And apparently still happens til this day. So yes people have to emphasize that black peoples lives matter. Because apparently if you don’t fight for that, racist hate filled people won’t care. Unless non black people join hands with them and be anti racist instead of just denying racism exists.
People need to get rid of their pride and egos. Right now that is what it seems like you are doing, taking the movement as an attack towards you personally. But it isn’t.
I reframe from using words like “privilege” in general because it does sound condescending. Everyone has their different struggles. But try to put yourself in the shoes of black people, even though it’s not easy when you aren’t living that way. But look at their history, how many white people have gotten brutally murdered just for being white? How many white peoples ancestors were seen beneath all humans and used only for labor? How many white people have to deal with stereotypes in all parts if the world?
You guys literally have it easy in that way. Even in other countries they worship white people like they are above even their own kind! Why?
White skin and caucasian features all over the world have been seem as desirable. Literally engrained in society that white is always better. This stuff goes deep into history.
Even myself as a “brown person”, not white but not black I feel I have it easier.
I wish to go abroad someday and I realize watching videos of black people who also want to travel have to deal with the worry of racism more than any other race. Something I know I have easier in that regard. Than I think, wow what if I was black? It would be harder for me to even think about traveling. So yes, especially white people have it easy in these regards.
So unless you simply don’t care about black people, you should reframe from victimizing whites in these instances because it sounds very racist.

I love Candace Owens. She does her research and gets her fact straight.
I don't dislike her, but I think she makes some deeply flawed arguments. And there are much brighter black conservatives who even agree with her on a majority of issues, but whose problem with her is exactly that she often does not get her facts straight, or provide any evidence at all for some of her extreme views:
Might depend on the definiton of conservative but I'm not sure if one can really call him a conservative. The City Journal he writes for was founded by a conservative but he himselfs seems to lean more on the left of the middle in terms of political orientation.
That being said I'm not sure how much value terms like conservativel, left, right etc. have anymore because those lines become more and more blurry.
yeah I definitely can agree with that, especially since wherever you stand along the spectrum is relative to the issue under discussion...an early/important influence for him with similar views on race, is John McWhorter, and he takes issue with the label...I guess I use the term wrt his views on race relations because they fall within the stream of thinkers like Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, Glenn Loury who were referred to as the "black conservatives" of the previous generation....
You mean it's more a "conservative" in the sense of a thought tradition?click to expand
