Last night one of my best friends who I have a huge crush on yelled at me at her apartment
cause I don’t wear a mask anywhere and apparently it’s bothered her for a long time. Her mom is dying of cancer and her dad also is dying so they’re high risk. I STRONGLY believe masks havent been working and may even be making the cases increase, but that’s another argument for another time. I will say this though, if they actually did work as well as they were supposed to, California with the strictest mandates in the nation would not have the highest cases and deaths, with over 99.9 percent compliance.
Anyway, I told her I will either stay away from her parents completely, or wear a mask in front of them, but I will not wear a mask in public. She said that was selfish of me and that I’m trying to kill her parents. Am I in the wrong for not wearing one even though I hang out with her all the time and she also sees her parents a lot? Or is she controlling for even insinuating she has the right to tell anyone what to do? I personally believe she is wrong for hanging out with anyone if she thinks it’s a risk- mask or NO MASK. I believe the responsibility falls on her. But I’m open to feedback on this. Thank you
I still think it would be wise enough to wear a mask in public. If California has the highest percentage in death and covid cases....yeah. This stuff circulates in the air we breathe. You hanging around your crush without a mask you risk that chance.

I really don’t understand why people look down on “settling”? Because ultimately you will end up settling one way or another in life? Whether it’s a man-free, independent cat lady life or to a partner who helps provide for you to some degree... you’re settling for a certain endgame no matter what it is..?? Idk I think people just complicate things and ultimately just have no clue of what they really want in life and are just all over the place. TikTok therapists like to say it all goes back to inner self conflict and childhood/other trauma. Why can’t people just accept there will ALWAYS be something or someone better out there for them? I’ve been reading Tony Robbins. You should look into it. Masculine and feminine energy in a relationship.
Men and women both have feminine and masculine energy. This is not about antiquated gender roles, although if you wants a “mans man”...you have to be a woman’s woman. You can’t have 2 feminine energy people or 2 masculine energy people in a relationship.
If a man has dominant masculine energy and you constantly criticize him and don’t show him appreciation...he becomes a feminine energy. And vice versa, feminine energy yearns to be wanted. When a feminine energy is not wanted it wears a mask of masculinity.
You can’t just abuse a man into stepping up to the plate. He steps up for the woman he feels appreciates him. Similarly, a woman is not going to let her guard down for just any man. The man has to prove that he will cherish and honor her. (Again either sex can be masculine or feminine)

In looking all evidence up of particle size, the surgical masks that nurses and doctors wear in the OR mitigated to the size particle of .325. The various particle sizes of the Corona virus ranged from .08 to .125, so they don’t do much good. People like you love the masks because it gives you a false sense of security. Then you go out and about, and the positive tests are on the rise! Not really very surprising!
