Its horrible to see anybody glued to their phones but not anything else. You can't go no where without seeing people on their phone either texting or shooting off at their big mouth. Sometimes I still wish to be in the force unit. I would pull over everybody I see texting and driving and give them a ticket.

I am deeply sorry to all who've experienced loss of a pet!
My girl (she was called Mama since she gave birth to my other "panther") passed away last night. I estimate it happened during the phone call with my own mom. Mixed emotions right now! I am selfishly relieved she didn't suffer long (or at least it wasn't obvious she did) & the fact that I didn't have to make the decision wether to have her put to sleep or not... unlike my puppy (I still call her puppy even though she reached a mature age of 12).
I cried myself to sleep for months this past year. Crazy I know! This is my 3rd pet in the past two years & it doesn't get any easier. People keep trying their best to console me by saying how good and long of a life they had with me but little good does it do as I keep thinking they could've been with us a little while longer. In the end, all I can say is that I feel blessed and equally honored that they had chosen me to be their custodian!
May all their little beautiful souls lay in peace!

I scored a seasonal part time job as a commercial Christmas tree decorator and yep, started decorating 12 foot trees, 20, even 30 foot trees for malls, offices, hotels

I was invited to a nye house party where everyone was required to show a negative test to gain entrance. Only about 12-15 people showed I think. But obviously not social distancing.
I briefly thought of going but ended up going camping for the weekend.
Anyways someone tested positive AFTER the party. Which means that they most likely picked up the virus after being tested prior, during that 24hr-48hr period waiting for the results. They show up thinking they were negative, negative results in hand, and were in fact positive.
Now all those people are having to quarantine for the next 2 weeks/until testing negative. Bummer.
Anyways... my condolences. Being single and wanting to mingle rn has to be really tough. Like sure, you were gonna risk your life for that stranger danger tinder dick... but now the stakes are even higher in these pandemic times.
