I pulled back a little but then he also was saying how his aunt was on him about saving money, getting in school and getting himself together before talking to someone. So then he was like I may be distant but this is why. He also left to go see his kids but still. He was on my ass heavy then he backed up.
Why would he talk about spending money? Was he paying for everything? Guys are so funny blaming stuff on someone else. Such a cop out.
Depending on how much he spent and if he was footing the bill for a lot, he could've thought you were a gold digger (this is based on the very little that I read)
A sag is generous with money, but you have to at least act like you are going to pay. Or pay for small things, so he doesn't know how much he's spending.
Sag men are generous but not the chivalrous types that think they are the men, so they should pay.
If he said he may be distant, just leave him alone.
If you like him, contact him in a few weeks and invite him do something free, like hiking or going to the beach. That way it doesn't look like your hand is in his pocket.
I really feel like his aunt has a lot to do with it. When we first went out he always paid. He did ask do I believe in paying for dates and I told him I didn’t have a issue especially if I know it was going to be serious. So this last time we were suppose to go out before he left to go see his kids I didn’t hear anything but he was on my ig story. So yes I’ve backed all the way up and just living life. He wanted to talk to me so I’m not sweating it like that just thought it was weird. He got his space though definitely not a crowder.

The wording on that, I'm not sure what your asking. If you asking about messing around then disappearing, I can't give a opinion. Because the reasons variety.

I know he said he was trying to get into school, work on managing his money better, etc. Things were going good until the week before last when he left to see his kids. We were suppose to go on a date, then he didn’t respond when it was time. It was my treat too but he was on my story that night like wth?

I remember when I was undecided on my career but I had a good job I was still depressed because I didn’t know what I wanted to do in the future. I knew I wasn’t going to stay at that job forever but I just didn’t know what I was gojng to do then the universe intervened. I have an Aries aunt who isn’t quite like me, actually 2 because they’re twins. I’m always on the go that I have very little down time or time to do necessary things like clean and cook. I’m gojng to get a cleaning person maybe once a month and think about dropping my laundry off. Doing life alone as an adult sucks. But things will get better in a year or two, im working hard establishing myself in my career and I plan on buying a house in 2 years, once I do that I can breathe more. I don’t feel stable now though, once I do, I can breathe.

A week isn't anything. and there's a reason why you guys aren't seeing each other. I wouldn't look too much into it. Fall back and let him contact you once he's back. Then you two can pick up like normal.
It's not necessary to keep checking in when he's told you he's busy.
