I agree that it doesn't compare to what other groups have endured.
it just feels like a constant stubble dismissal of who these people are or choose to be, over and over again, which feels more accepted in our culture vs if you put a meme on fb dismissing another race/gender's culture.
The whole cancel culture by race in general is dumb. I'm mixed race and can agree to this.
Anything to keep people divided though.
America has become so sensitive, people can't do anything without having some sort of backlash from it.
If America ruled over Rome, the steps and sidewalks would be pulled up do to the labor and who laid the foundation of the buildings 5,000 years ago.

I think most would agree being charismatic comes off more genuine than being charming. Charming can be seen as a pleasant presence regardless of one's actual character whereas charismatic can feel more wholesome and engaging as the person is most likely being more expressive. I'd say coming off charismatic had helped me the most when it came to presentations as I would hate them and struggled with anxiety when it came to those but made sure to come off very engaged in whatever it was I was saying and I'm pretty sure I've said gibberish stuff but got away with high scores regardless. I also did the same when I was meeting potential suitors and it just always worked. People enjoy others who are enthusiastic about life I guess or comes off as it vs just being a charming pretty face with a cardboard personality.

I dont understand...we talked about literally anything and I was okay with it. Her exs to heck whenever she was on the rag. I feel like I might of helped her get over some things she had going on.

^^this right here, you are learning from interacting with her this way. If she really is your type, you are learning a lot about your type without the pressures associated with dating.
Even better your learning to interact with a woman in a everyday manner that will be very good experience for when you get in a long term relationship and the romantic stuff cools off and your spending a lot of time together. For lack of better phrasing it "demystifies" the opposite sex.
As for the weird part, it takes some getting use to, it's not socially common. You are use to treating them and talking to them to pursue. That's takes some time getting use to not doing that.
Just keep your boundries up and remember you are just friends. Meaning your obligations don't extent beyond that. Don't start acting like a boyfriend, hitting on her, or allowing her put the same obligations on you as a boyfriend would have. Biology will rear it's ugly head from time to time. That's just something you got to learn to deal with as a gut in general.
Honestly a lot of people including myself prefer to be friends first. My personal philosophy as a man with female friends is: " If I like you then I like you. if we will not work out romantically I get a friend out of it."
Like I mentioned above one of the benifits of taking it slow from the fried zone is...tons of experience without the train wreck relationship history. It was not my intention to do this at first now I actively follow this approach.
On the bright side, I have close friends I can get advice from about woman and have a greater understanding then the majority of men out there.
I know what I want and need in a partner too without learning the hard way. I'm confidant I can make any relationship I choose to have a successful one.

I personally like being emo and being in my own little bubble but I do crave friends so I'm working on being more charismatic even tho it's draining but I also can't stand how extra enthusiastic you have to act. Like nobody is perfect 24/7 but Lord forbid if you say something that makes you anything less. Where do I find reasonably healthy and sane emo friends?

Why are men the only ones being blamed? Why don't women marry before having babies? This protects the baby as well as herself financially.
I'm not blaming women because I believe most who put themselves in these positions don't mind having the babies without commitment from the baby daddies. If they did mind, they'd be way more responsible when opening their legs. Either that or your average guy and chick severely underestimate the process of how babies are made.
I would say the same thing about men in this position. They don't mind having sex with no commitments.
I'm sure both men and women love sex without commitments but impregnating someone does result in a commitment to the child forming in the eyes of the law.

See you're blaming it all on the men again when millions of women decided to not use birth control while having sex with a guy who doesn't want to commit to her more than sex. It goes both ways except women are usually the ones who want the baby.
