How do Virgos show/or hide that they're falling in love
i'm weirdly distant and aloof at times but prob wanting to go on trips together is a safe bet i'd like you around and it's always a great way to see how someone can be like when you have to be around each other a lot before living together.
like normally, i don't go to company events but management had this resort thing we have to go to with co-workers and i'm taking the cancer sun/virgo moon on this business trip.
it's important for me to see that we get along. i need someone cooperative.
how are you like if we have to build tents or make our own food without much to work with? what if i booked somewhere expensive? what if i do this or that? are you easily angered? are you a quitter? lazy? abusive? can you tell if i'm lying or hurt and why? i'd like to know these things so i like to go on trips with you.

Its Been a year. I have trouble picturing a close relationship of any kind were something that personal has not been discussed.
Your better off asking yourself, is the relationship dynamic(how you act with and feel about each other) something you would be interested long term?
I am interested. I love the way I feel next to him. I admire him as a person (for his decisions, actions and how he treats his family etc). So I’d really like to give it a chance. But since it was months and months and he would not hit on me, I seriously believed he was not into me.
He’s into Russian women and I’m Russian lol. Intellect, personality wise - I check all boxes.
He’s been busy dating in the past years but now is taking it slow. He’s just turned 40 but has no rush to settle down.

Well then make your interest known. Personally if I value someone I'd be far less likely to risk what is already working just fine. On that note, keep in mind, you said yourself you should no interest before this yourself lol

One of the most important things I’ve learned in life is how to be grateful. It was extremely important after I left my husband. See because the sadness drags you so far down, it’s hard to breathe sometimes. It’s hard to remember there are good things. But a grateful practice helps you realize all the good things you have in this world, instead of dwelling on the bad. I mean I know you’re a Capricorn but you need to try it. I used to make a list of 10 things I was grateful for everyday. You know it’s amazing there are always things no matter how bad your life is! It really helps to change your focus. I’d say that’s what you need … to change your focus. Focus on the good instead of the bad. Life will get better!

The thing is I am grateful and I was grateful with my life with my husband. Eg a Marriage, a Family, a Home, a Life, Security.
That's a lot to lose for some Pisces bastard who took me for a ride!
Despite being grateful for everything I had, everything else took over. Loneliness, Anger, Insecurity, Depression, Anxiety.
Sadly I became blind to everything I had. Emotion took over.
Life is a lot harder now.
I hate being a single mum. Especially where me and my husband don't speak.
We haven't spoken for most of her life. She's nearly 8.
I just wish I'd forced myself to REMEMBER what I had and the Gratitude I always had!

It's weird. I love music, live for it. So when this thread popped up I got really excited. But the more I thought about it the more difficult it became for me because, i felt each placement is far more complex than to pick just one song. But it really is, as WarAngel pointed out opened up a whole different understanding for me how people relate a song to their placement.
Definitely. What I like is the songs represent how people experience their placements oppose to the generic summaries/stereotypes you read on astro sites.

I get it. A year is way too long.
We didn’t hit it off right away. At least it took me quite some time to get to know him better and to feel attracted. So I took this year to develop some emotions towards him through experiences we’ve shared. I wasn’t looking for a friend and the concept of being friends with a guy doesn’t really appeal to me.
So perhaps it was the same thing for him as well in terms of gradually warming towards you over the year? I think the lesson learned going forward is you need to be more clear with you intentions, wants and needs. I believe we encounter people to learn more about ourselves. You're wondering why he was not more forward/assertive until now, however you were not either. There could be a cultural or personality element involved that prevented this on your end. I am not suggesting that you pounce on the man, however I do think you can still be clear and direct even if you have a shy personality.
Like when the man asked you if you wanted to have sex, at any point did you raise the fact that you would like more or did you simply go with the flow hoping it would open that door? I find that rarely works out well for people that use the latter approach. If I can use an analogy, would you accept a job that you think you will really enjoy without asking what it fully entails or what the salary is and hope for the best? No. You would either have a good understanding before accepting the job, and/or discuss your expectations/terms. Especially given you are friends, this conversation should have been a fairly easy process.
Anyway, you are well past that now. I don't think you will be doing yourself any favours by not speaking up sooner than later if you would like more. You will also need to be okay with him not wanting anything more than friendship given he did make it clear "sex between friends". He was clearly stating what you are and what you will be after your initial session. Doesn't mean it has to stay there if you speak up.

That's interesting I have been called that. so it doesn't bother me, I do notice earth men do believe in traditional rolls between men and women more than other signs. I would think that's why they are called that. Because the more a man openly say he prefer women that play a traditional rolls he gets that label.

Somewhere between pretty fucked up and pretty good. Over the last years it has been mostly leaning towards the better side of it, but there are still times when she slips into the older patterns. What has changed is that she is able to recognize some of them, apologise and work on them now.
