I don't see that happening. If anything we will want the AI to essentially be inside of us, thus becoming above modern human in the next stage of our evolution. The only way I could see this as a problem is if evil humans program AI to do evil things. I don't believe AI will be advanced enough to destroy or even create unless a human programs it to do so. If that's the case then humans will equally program AI for good as bad. Exactly like we live life as humans now. So it will be no different. I honestly believe we will become artificial living beings faster then AI in general becomes sentient enough to become God. We will either upload our conscious into some type of perfect simulation, or become perfect living beings with the help of AI and cybernetics.
I'll leave it to the individual, but think about examples even from posts/posters on this site. If the AI is being taught to act in the same manner, would you trust it, much less have it in your body or depend on it?

At the same time I 100% believe humans will use AI for good too, and will use it to stop some of the bad. In that case it will be a never ending cycle, but rather then humans vs humans, it's more likely to be humans controlling AI vs humans controlling AI. Bottom line in the scenario of what you mentioned though, would you rather be against, or with something that unfathomably powerful? Also I wouldn't trust it any more or less then my own body developing something threatening, or my heart randomly stopping one day. Tbh I feel AI has less room for flaw overall though.

I think the root of all human corruption is negative emotions, so unless AI starts feeling I think we're good.
Unless people program it to destroy.
It might at some point, in a technological way.
The problem is, what stops it from using "logic" to assess threats and remove them? Rampant human procreation has over populated the planet and is effecting the eco system. So, what's the logical solution?

I really don't think humans can create robots that can feel but I would love to live long enough and witness that but not to witness AI destroying people 😭

Compare modern male attitudes towards women to those a century ago, and it's almost like night and day. If that's not 'evolution' in your eyes, I suggest you refer to a dictionary for the official definition of that word.
What's happening now is that men are gradually waking-up to fact the playing field is very uneven - they've been expected to 'evolve' and accommodate women's needs, but many women are vilifying, gaslighting and extorting men regardless (while still playing the victim card when it suits them).
A good example is the 'new man' movement, which first rose to prominence in the '80s and gathered a lot of momentum in the '90s. Remember that?
A man "who rejects sexist attitudes and the traditional male role, especially in the context of domestic responsibilities and childcare, and who is (or is held to be) caring, sensitive, and non-aggressive".
This had a positive effect on Western male attitudes, but it has now been conveniently swept under the carpet because it contradicts the toxic feminist agenda.
In recent decades, many men have shown greater empathy towards women and their needs. Maybe now it's time for many women to do the same, instead of selfishly exploiting their own gender for personal gain.
