Yeah but...if those people are involved, they wouldn't indulge in that kind of relationship in the first place don't you think? Or if it's one sided, it's not very likely that both parties would actually want a relationship but that they would first start as FWB. Just my impression of it. If someone wanted me for that only, I'd never trust them to want a real relationship with me afterwards cause if they did, they would have from the start...

Absolutely...I'm just saying it from my own perspective, I could never trust someone who at first saw me only valuable for sex, but not a real relationship. They would have to do wonders to gain my trust

Instead of going straight to a complaint, you might get more insight by asking her, “How do you feel about the way we’ve worked together so far?” It shifts the weight onto her to explain herself and allows you to take lead. Prepare for what you want to say.
The fact that she clapped on a professional Zoom call is absolutely disgusting behavior for a manager. And that no one shut it down is insane. I understand why this is on your mind all day. When someone publicly disrespects you like that, its hard to let go and not dwell on it. But this can be a real turning point in learning how to stand up for yourself without creating terrible conflict
Have the conversation first in private and take the lead while making her reflect on her behavior

My own manager has repeatedly asked her what is the issue. She either says she wants this other guy, he’s white, or she’ll say I don’t know who the in’s and outs. I was growing so tired of hearing her complain that called her bluff during a meeting and asked her point blank and what are these mysterious ins and outs she keeps saying I don’t know. Name them, list them.
She gasped and never listed a damn thing.
Only hot air and complaining.
The funny thing is, she has NEVER worked on a project like this whereas I have. I actually have more experience than she does.
She complains that I don’t know this or that meanwhile she doesn’t know this or that. Lol
She gives herself grace and the space to ask questions to get better informed but the minute I ask a question, Issa problem. She doesn’t allow me the same grace she gives herself. Ive even answered the questions that she has asked. Much to her chagrin.
She’s told upper mgmt that I’m not equipped blah blah blah meanwhile she’s out to lunch.
Last week I did a forecast change, it caused her to have to correct the forecast for one of her people.
She wrote this 4 paragraph email to me and my boss about how I had inconvenienced her so badly and how she wasn’t informed in a timely fashion.
Come to find out, she has been holding secret meetings for almost a year with upper management and not telling me or my boss. No one is on the same page and it’s delayed the project.
But I’m the inconvenience.
She’ll learn that the grass is not greener.
Her and whoever listens to her manipulation will learn.
She turned a lot of weak ass people on the project team against me. So much so that it took months just to get her these people to respond to me.
They can all go to hell.
Besides my boss, Not one person on the project team thanked me for my efforts or wished me well. Not one.
