2 consecutive female Sec. of state, both scorpios, during the biggest economic and political collapse in confidence since 1874.

"Believe it or not, I am not attacking anyone. I am commenting on the issue and people??s reaction to the issue"
Why would this be said with a believe it or not clause, as if to suggest that someone other than yourself has used this adjective as a description of behaviour, and might think it is happening?

If I look at it objectively, I think the trade off is she doesn't have good sense of self-esteem. She always thinks guys are really nice even when I am thinking this guy is a complete jerk. Heard of gaydar? She is missing Jerkdar. (She has a lot of issues around relationships but I think she overlooks the genuine guys because she is afraid of being smoothered in a relationship and worried about getting into a longterm relationship while her best friend, who really wants one, is still single. A lot of dynamics. To many to get into on this message board.)
One of the arguments I made to my aquaintence who had spent all his time reading The Game, etc was that I have never heard a girl proclaim a man she first met and interested in as being a jerk. Women always say, "OMG! I met this guy! He is so nice/sweet! .... blather ... blather ... blather." No matter how big of a jerk the guy ends up being, it ALWAYS starts with a girl thinking he is nice. *shrug*
I think what some men have and some men DON'T have is confidence. Confidence is attractive.
It is so weird because I know so many truly sexy, attractive, well-spoken, well-educated, ambitious, successful women who are funny, intelligent, and good natured yet single. I don??t really know that many men I could put in that category. It is really a shame.

"I have witnessed overweight and very average looking men pick apart swimsuit models. As much as some people try to deny certain realities of life, these women would have been WAY out of their legue. An obese man is probably not going to wind up with a swimsuit model for a partner without something else (money/power or something else) factoring in."
So have I .. I've also witnessed women who tear apart men thinking they deserve to be princesses just because they are breathing.

P-Angel
Stop splitting hairs and making issues where there are none. You cannot control which words I use and how I chose to express myself. I refuse to walk on eggshells because you cannot look at anything with any sort of objectivity.

True. I have also witnessed this. I find it more rare though. Women, in general, are not raised with the same sense of entitlement that men are. From my experience, women tend to sell themselves short.

Oh Gawd, Princie...you quack me up.
I'm straight but all for gay marriage. I would rather see someone I care about being treated with respect and loved and supported by someone their own sex than get beat everyday by an individual the government tells them to stay with because it's 'the law' and 'it is what's right'.
I didnt think of this issue of losing a spouse of the same sex. I knew that, once a gay couple has a child together, they can be torn apart as well. IE- when the child gets ill and such things like that.
Prince: you helped me feel better after cramming for my Stock Equity Options exam. There's only one YOU!!!
