TAURUS carrying MAPS???
okay. i am a taurus (may 2nd) my moon is in scorpio.
i was using a map to get around the part of the city i live in and all of a sudden at LEAST two people were like oh yr a taurus aren't you?
and i was like .... actually that's true.
DO WE JUST CARRY MAPS anyone else use a map?! isn't that a reasonable thing to do if you don't know where yr going?? how is it a taurus thing to do? i never even considered it.
also, another issue. how to you overcome the taurean issue of trust. my boyfriend broke trust with me a year ago and i still continue to harp on it even though he thinks we are past that point. he didn't cheat on me, but he did lie about having sex with someone when i asked him about it while we were on a break. now i feel like maybe i'll never be able to fully trust him again. i don't want to bring it up because i feel like it will leave me too vulnerable. i wondered if anyone else has been in a similar trust or not to trust situation.

I appreciate what you are saying Krys but, the over him part was/has happened way before my meeting someone else and it just dawned on me that I was no longer thinking about the ex. I have dealt with all my feeling through reading self help books and going through the processes to make sure there isn't any baggage going with me. And of course within this site and seeing others go through what I was too.
The exploring with someone else is just that at this stage and there isn't any sex yet and not until I am sure that it isn't just about that.

They start off charming others, making others comfortable & giving you so much of their time, energy & conversation, not realizing that they are making that person assume that they are only doing so b/c of feelings of love. But in reality, he gives all his time to most everyone he knows & only ends up with the person that he feels the "acting" can turn into the "REAL" thing with. This may confuse you, but to him, it's almost like he's "sampling" all the women in his life & seeing which one ignites his fire the most.

I don't think you ever compared this to civil rights but there were others that were and to me that's wrong. I don't agree that gay couples shouldn't have the same advantages that married couple do. I have nothing against gay people. I just can understand where there are some people that want to hold on to what they believe is "traditional" marrige. That is what they believe. I feel as though I'm being tolerant of thier beliefs where there are others on here that are name calling. That's hypocritical.
Saying that you are a tolerant and open minded person means you'd accept that there are people who believe differently then YOU do even if you don't agree with it. I've seen more people who claim to be open minded turn around and call the opposition "small minded, bible thumpers, intolerant". BUT wait.... isn't that being a hypocrite? How tolerant is that?

No. Because he has been through what he has and I've been there off and on and worried about even getting to HAVE a life with him there are some things that we have put into perspective. If he came to me tomorrow and said he doesn't want to get married but assured me that he wants to live with me and stay with me and most importantly that he loves me I'd be fine with it. Love IS all that matters. I'm lucky to have him home and safe with me. 7 of his friends will never have that chance.They are dead killed in combat in Iraq with him fighting next to him. That's a huge wake up call. Loving someone isn't about what you'll get out of them finacially.... it's about having them there every day. There's nothing to gain. But that's just me. That's just the way I feel.

I just moved into a new house that was redone but OLD. I also happen to live in a town who's claim to fame it Ameila Earhart's birth town and the most haunted town in Kansas
I was laying on the bed with my kitties (so I know it wasn't them) and there were all sorts of odd noises all night long. I'm all by myself at the moment so I kept the tv on for sound and comfort while I slept and damned if it didn't turn it's self off. Lights turn off and on, the radio flips on by it's self and the kittens were growling at something unseen at the top of the stairs. They stood at the bottom of the stairs all poofed up growing staring up the stairs. All at once they both took off running hissing and yowling and hid. THAT scared me because they are good natured kittens that don't act like that EVER.
Maybe it's because I'm in a new house all alone but it's creeping me out big time. I thinking about telling Aries I want to move when he gets home
It's such a pretty house though. Redone hardwoood floors!!! 2 bathrooms! No sharing a bathroom with a man and risking falling in the tiolet in the middle of the night because he's left the seat up!! If you stand outside it and look up in the bedroom windows it looks...... scary. Like someone is going to walk up to the window and wave. *shudders*
It doesn't help I lost power due to a storm the other day and I had to sit there with freaking candles. I was so scared I went and sat out on the front porch (in the rain) til dawn. I guess I'm a chicken.
