In the event of another argument, try not to become fighty yourself, that will make things worse. Keep cool, let him vent, if you get involved in the argument it will get worst. Then talk about it and ask him why, try to communicate your feelings and share all.
YOu are a Fish after all, you will be tolerant and patient enough to know why he treated you like that.

@joanie it's just something i've had to work on, since it really works against being in a healthy relationship. i tend to come off as cold and unfeeling when that's not really the case. i make it a point to try my best to be more expressive
