you have a good attitude sunnygirl...i hope everything works out the way it was supposed to...
so you think your scorp is waiting for you to crumble...yeah i think that 2 sometimes
Yeah probably I have a girl Gemini cousin. I've known her since 4 and she's just fun (now a sophomore in high school) I feel old. I don't really like Male Geminis.. they annoy me, but they don't mean no harm, they're quite charming, but they rub me the wrong way. Female Geminis on the other hand are always so beautiful.
I know exactly how you feel. A night of movie watching always meant sex so I always came prepared, it was funny

Look, I'm not a huge Rush fan, but I do listen to him on occasion. In fact this may be surprising for you, but he's not conservative enough for me. For a man who who dropped out of college and worked many jobs getting fired many times, he realized what his passion was and found a medium to develop his talents. Love him or hate him, anyone who questions his individual prowess doesn't recognize talent. He has set the standard when it comes to talk radio. He is extremely well read and can debate utilizing substantial facts, much of which are merely comments/quotes made by those who attack him; and yet, he can throw in a sense of humor using parodies and impersonations that are hilarious. I know most liberals hate him. It's funny that most liberal talk radio has failed over the years. Maybe it does take real talent and knowledge to make a show work?
I respect your opinions 25th and find you to be a very intelligent and informative poster of substance in most areas. But you do seem to show your political slant at times when honestly, it's probably not even warranted.
tonight's topic was about virgo's being selfish. Rush isn't even a virgo as you mentioned. so why bring him up? it's akin to how minutes after Jerrod Laughner shot the congresswoman and others in Tucson, liberal news outlets as MSNBC, CNN and the big 3 networks were all calling him a former Afgahnistan veteran and tea party member who hated Congresswomen Giffords. Well only ONE of those statements were fact. He hated Giffords. But guys like Oberman, C. Matthews, NBC's Chuck Todd and the NY Times to name just a very few news sources that typical lean to the left were so quick to label him a crazed right wing militia member because it fit their personal agenda. Yet when the Fort Hood killer, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who killed 13 and wounded 29 others, it was the same media (Oberman/Matthews lead the charge) who instructed all of America to "don't make a rush to judgement and don't bring up the fact that Hasan was a Muslim...Do not make any conclusions, let the facts play out first...." Do you not see the hypocrisy in this? I know many Americans do.
That is why Rush has the most successful talk radio show. That is why Fox News gets higher ratings than MSNBC and CNN combined. That is why papers as the NY Times, The Washington Post and the LA Times are losing so many subscribers and finding it very hard to compete with the "new media" (web sites/blogs etc.) media which a

That is why Rush has the most successful talk radio show. That is why Fox News gets higher ratings than MSNBC and CNN combined. That is why papers as the NY Times, The Washington Post and the LA Times are losing so many subscribers and finding it very hard to compete with the "new media" (web sites/blogs etc.) media which actually prints facts and reports the news rather than tries to make the news and push an agenda. And yes, despite the fact that Fox News is blowing away the competition, they do also have an agenda. So I don't question your stance on that if you believe it. In fact, all state run news (which is what we have) pushes a certain agenda.
Now add to that, Obama just made the CEO of GE, the company that owns NBC, his new economic and jobs advisor. Do you not see that Obama and GE have their own agenda? GE has done business with Iran for years. GE just did a huge deal with China prior to the Premier of China's visit in DC. Now if you're referring to this type of underhanded deals being a downfall of capitalism to some extent, I would agree with you. However, Obama refuses to raise tariffs on China, who exports tons of goods into this country. Much of it utter crap and some even toxic. Yet China places big tariffs on our exports into their country. So when Obama allows China to sell their tons of goods to the US and places no tariff on them, which then subjects this country's corporations to huge tariffs when selling our goods to China, would you say that Obama understands or is doing the right thing for those in this country who work for a living and rely upon selling their goods overseas? You can't claim that a guy like Rush has never understood or doesn't care about the less fortunate if at the same time you see little discrepancy in Obama's actions/agenda. If you do, then it's exactly the same as embracing Keith Oberman's double standard on "rushing to judgement" when it comes to parallel scenarios. For the record. There are very good conservatives in this world who have done a lot and given much to charity. There are also many liberals who have done the same. It's just that conservatives never get recognized for their contributions because the mainstream media, who mostly lean to the left, would rather push that all conservative are gun toting, racist, homophobes who believe in smaller, less intrusive government are selfish and mean spirited. Did I about cover it?

back to the topic at hand....having known several virgo men in my lifetime, I can honestly say that one was very selfish. I'm not sure if it was because he was a virgo or if it's because he was insecure. I've found people in general come with the same basic set of qualities, challenges and often failures. Those who rise above conflict and obstacles do so because of hard work, dedication, perseverance, convictions, goals and direction. Those who don't usually blame others for their failure and don't accept personal accountability.
Some are just insecure and will never grow up or perhaps, don't know how to. I grew up with an abusive alcoholic father who treated my family, especially my mother like crap.
He abused her when she was dying from breast cancer I had to call the cops. She died and I lost my only support. During my childhood he berated me and told me I would never be successful in life nor smart enough to do anything with my life. Thank God I got involved in tennis and my tennis coach became my father figure. He probably saved my life because he believed in me and gave me a chance. I didn't grow up rich. I didn't grow up with a loving father. I didn't grow up with many options other than to accept what I had and work hard to succeed in something. I did. And I hold my conservative convictions and practices very dear to my heart. Because without them, I probably would have given up and lost all hope. So you see 25th, good people come in all shapes, sizes, colors, creeds and races. And imho, no one sign has a monopoly on selfishness or compassion. It's really that simple.
