@rosepetals - absolutely dear. it's like everytime he tries to breathe he can't get enough air. I don't think he knows how to love or accept love. he's got so much to sort out and doesn't know where to start. what's first? who's first? he can't prioritize because he can't see straight. it's almost like he needs a life coach or mentor to tell him what to do. he's in so much pain...which is why he continues to push/pull. if he even tried to give you more, he knows he'd fail because he can't give you what you need. he can't even give it to himself. breaks my heart.
I'm in tears right now. Everything here, is pretty much word by word identical to what he's expressed. I'm skeptical to begin with and have my own trust issues when it comes to men so I wasn't sure if he was being truthful or 'having his cake and eating it too'

There comes a point when a person has to go from being a victim to being the victor.Victor in the sense that they are done and have have mastered their own actions and,thoughts and feelings to change the course of their own life.And not trying to be victorious over another.Revenge is a life lived well,not trying to one up the person that hurt you.
If they have always outmanuvered you,what makes you think that they will be offguard at any point so you can exact your revenge.How many times has a person tried to get their last on a marker,only to go over the top and get into all types of legal trouble.
Whereas the other person has been in so much trouble,spent time in jail to catch up on the law and talk to other cons about what they did,so when they come out,they have a new bag of tricks to get you with.Why do you think that so many of the markers know how far to take their actions up to the edge of the law and not get in more trouble when dealing with someone who hasn't had that much experience or hasn't learned from their own past mistakes?
This why the gal that was cheated on and cuts up the bf clothes ends up paying for it,with her own money,time to make that money and now has a criminal record .She pays for it 4x over,court fees,probation fees,restitution and possible job loss now or has a record and won't get hired for her dream job.FAIL.
When to say enough.Sure everyone has their own threshold of pain,but when does the victim stop being the victim.We do not live in medieval times where being beat was just going to be a way of life until that person died that way.
There are so many resources out there that a person can get help.They don't even have to get help in their own city.What does it take to make the shift from that mindset of thinking that they can retrain their bf,that they aren't worthy enough to having pride in oneself.When does victimhood stop being an way of life for the short term attention/sympathy/pity that it brings to making adult decisions with ones' life.

so then you understand why i had to voice my discontent to anyone within earshot.
My Libra's got Libra as his Sun, Mercury and Mars.. as well as several minor planets. And he does this shit all the time. Days (or weeks) of gogogoGOGOGO.. followed by days (or weeks) of sitting like a lump (when not at work).. doesn't want to go out or do anything.. NOTHING sounds like anything he wants to do.. has a whole list of Honey Do's (both here and at his widowed Mom's)... friends calling or texting and asking what's up or wanna hang out... and the most strenuous thing he can be bothered to do is shower or hold the remote, in between three or four daily naps. HAHAHA
Once he recharges or recovers or balances his scales or they get TOO far out of balance or whatever..he swings back the other way. I'm pretty mellow and easygoing. If he wants to sit around, he's welcome to it.. if I want to go out or do something, I'll ask.. or go off and do my own thing. I don't let his "lazy days" bother me. And really, they DON'T bother me.. he needs lazy days, and I need quiet/alone days. It's just the way we recharge, so what's to get upset about?
But I haven't found anything to combat it, cuz I don't try. I let him work out his lazy days himself. But I don't think HE'S found anything to combat it, either. He just pushes through.. takes his lazy days lying down, until he feels like revving up again. But I HAVE noticed that the harder he is on himself.. the more he bitches aloud about having so much stuff he needs to do but not having the energy or drive for it, and feeling like shit for it.. the longer it takes him to recharge. When he's mellow about it, and realizes he just needs a couple days to reset his circuits, it only takes a couple days and then he's back on top of things.
Maybe you're too hard on yourself about it too, TOC? Treat yourself gently and lovingly.. your lazy days are necessary to recharge for your energetic days, and there is absolutely not a damn thing wrong with it or with you!
