Hi Everyone . .hoping you can help me. I am a scorpio and this is my first relationship with a Virgo and I am having some trouble understanding what is going on. We have dated for 2 months exclusively. He told me that it's been a long time since he felt like this for anyone, that he saw us having a future together and that he was falling in love with me. He also said that he is absolutely terrified and trying hard NOT to fall for me. He has been badly burned in the past due to his ex cheating on him. This was about 2 years ago, and I am the first relationship he has had since.
Everything was going fine . and then we had our first argument. It was because I wanted to know if he considered me to be his girlfriend after 2 months. He got angry with me because he thinks he has shown me that he cares for me as his girlfriend, told me he thinks of me as his girlfriend, but to put a label on it adds pressure and things should come naturally. He also accused me of being "label happy" and I got upset. I too, have been burned so I was a little uneasy that I was also falling for him and needed some reinforcement. The things he told me above BTW were after our argument when we tried to talk things out. Anyway, he would not speak with me for 3 days after the fight, told me his feelings have now wavered for me, that he was hurt, and no longer sure he wanted to date me. The piece about dating came up because I asked him straight out because he was so upset, so I don't know if he said it in anger or what. made the mistake of trying to fix it, apologize and get him to talk several times over the 3 days (I know this was wrong in retrospect). Lastly, I wrote him an email telling him that I was truly sorry and that I didn't mean to make it seem like he wasn't doing enough or treating me like he cared - that some of this was just from my insecurity.
By the time we did speak, he told me he couldn't do this. That he wasn't 100% sure he wanted to stop dating, but he didn't know if he was really ready for a relationship, because the argument (even though it was pretty minor), made him extremely upset. That he is even more scared now because of his feelings for me.
What should I do now? We are still texting because he is going through some family issues and I am trying to be supportive as his friend. No relationship talk or anything like that. Any chance of repairing this? any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
