I know Scorps have a hard time with vocalizing what they feel. Perhaps flirting with another guy or going a bit overboard when talking about another guy will do the trick. If he gets jealous and tries to put the guy down, that could be a way to find out what's going on in his head. I'll warn you though, if you mess with a Leo, we will pull those words and feelings out of you. Like Lioness said...we need words.
LOL, i have done that already, when i was reaching out to friends those weekends I was trying to avoid spending it with him, im actually just hanging out with one of my close male (platonic) friend and he had our pictures taken & posted on both our fb walls. I can sense that he sees i'm not tied to him and even if he tries to manipulate my time, he knows he can't really have all of it since we're not in a relationship. I don't have problems going after men I like but this is one situation where im gonna let myself take slow easy steps.

yeah that too...Narcissist and Sociopaths search out women like her, that's why it's very important you be cool and observe him and not fall into his clutches just yet, make sure he's on the level and not some Narcissistic jerk preying on you, they look for women that are beneath them because they desire supply (ego), someone whose going to praise them and tell them how great they are so it's really important you RELAX so you can see what your dealing with.

I understand why some women like online dating, it feels safe for the most part but I think you should definitely not just joke around with him, make sure he understand you are not a slut because if you joke with him well he may get the impression you are his type (slutty), I'm not saying chastise him for his behavior but make it clear that he's not picking up a slut when it comes to you and honestly just him saying that would make me BACK ALL THE WAY UP, why would anyone want to date a man that prefer to pick up sluts and why would a normal man joke about it, just seems odd, odd behavior and an odd statement to make to a stranger he doesn't know yet IMHO.
I've been down the online dating road many many moons ago and sometimes the men get a little too comfortable and start revealing his true self, in this case I would say he's not joking, he really like picking up slutty women and it's probably why he's online, looking for loose women LOL but then again I could be way way off, only you know if you sense he's this kind of guy or not.
Be careful and be observant, when you meet, meet in a public place and bring a friend along to observe, maybe have a friend sit a few tables over to ensure your safety. Lot of weirdo's and mentally disordered men online looking for that one woman whose not so guarded, you'll have to really be observant to wade through the numerous undesirables to get to someone that is for real.

Funny thing this, the same day I made this thread a documentary called "Into The Wormhole" aired on Discovery Science.
Morgan Freeman narrated.

I am a Cancer male and I have had a hard time meeting women in real life romantically because of my traditionally shy nature. However,I have met women from online dating sites, yet they usually turn out to be women with extremely low self esteem - and while I like women that are humble about themselves- having 0 confidence in themselves is a huge turnoff. They also seem a little too clingy, which is only good to have later in a relationship.
In today's society I think its better if the woman comes onto the man. I just hate it as a Cancer Man when I am at a bar and when the woman has boyfriend and you feel like your putting her in an uncomfortable/awkward situation by hitting on her. I truly believe women can be aggressive at first without coming off slutty as long as they give the proper body language that we aren't making them feel uncomfortable.
