just realised i didn't really answer your question properly. sorry
i loved him the first moment i saw him. it was unexpected. from the start we were both very nurturing of each other. he felt like a friend i was wildly attracted to. we had to really get to know each other though, all those positive first impressions can make a person very complacent.
i find myself wanting to make his life better. i hate when he's stressed, or down, or anything negative really, lol. so i've had to put aside my spoilt brat tendencies and get real with myself. because i want this to last forever. it's a work in progress kinda thing
i just had the most amazing experience ever.
a family friend died last week wednesday, i've known him all my life. pretty sad. this morning his wife came over, she left and i said to my mum 'oh it's so weird not seeing them together.'
anyway. a few hours later the doorbell rang and it was a delivery man. he had a face of thunder...i stared at him because he looked so familiar and i couldn't place the face. the second i realised he was the spitting image of the man that's died, he looked into my eyes...smiled broadly and kinda winked.
it felt so potent. in the background, jeff buckley 'i shall be released' was playing on shuffle in the kitchen. it's the song i associate with death, a release of spirit from body. not a sad thing, but a transistion.
still reeling, lol. if there was something to it, i'm glad he came over to say hi

My personal feelings have been getting in the way, and I have been putting off telling him about some of the personal issues im going through at this moment. I gave him a sneak pek into my mind once, and while it seemed like he took it very well, he didn't say much. He was more comforting with his body language than hs words.
These are very serious issues, and that is why I dont know if I should tell him. I was injured awhile ago, and while I was recovering I went through some very life changing mental processes. One part of me wants someone to hold me, the other part wants to be stubborn and cling to my pride.

I'm in executive management and have had a couple of hundred team members over the years. I've also worked with many many others at upper and peer levels. Believe me, always hold your cards close to you vest. If you have any interest at all in making it in the business world you have to "play the game". No, it's not selling out, it's working it the way it has to be worked based on reality. I'm not the same person at work that I am outside of work.
I've left a company once because my manager was impossible but I always kept it professional even when resigning. Never burn any bridges and have the pride to not stoop to anyone elses level of dealing with the day to day which really isn't all that important in the long run. Just play the game, be what they are looking for and you'll go further which gives you better changes at cash money if you play it right.

i did get a 'fixed' vibe from you, probably why i thought you were an aqua
how do you feel about this man? because if you're serious about him, stubborness has no place in your situation. having these barriers...question if he's the right person for you. if he is, being emotionally exposed will feel natural. it's only an obstacle if you allow it to be, in your head.
i'm not saying bombard him with your entire life story, but if there are things in your past which affect you they will in turn affect him, so he should know. you can show him all sides of yourself and a person who loves/is right for you will only respond positively to that.
