I was engaged to a Scorpio when I was 23 and he was 46. The attraction was lethal ( even now I can smell a Scorpio within a 50 mile radius..makes me want to toss my panties at his head ). My daughter was all of 2 going on 3. His anger issues, dark moods and intolerance of her just being a toddler was the sticking point. Back to being 23. One day we were in the kitchen and my girl just strolled by the refrigerator. The bottom panel fell off. He thought she was messing with it/broke it and struck her, leaving bruising on her back. That was all it took. Even being over 5 hours away from my family I rung my mother. While he was at work we packed all her vehicle and mine could hold and we made the trek north. Like I say, I will put up with quite a bit personally but when it comes to my children that'll take me from zero to cuntski in a heartbeat. You will be dealing with a Momma Bear in all her glory.
Now, does one tick turd mean I loathe all Scorpios? Absolutely not. I just happened to have been dealing with one of the unevolved ones. Lucky moi.

Speak your mind. Wear something soft to the touch, including your hair ( no product...loose and silky, or a loose chignon with hair falling out of it.. ) and get out your sexiest perfume.

I've just been wondering if you Scorps have ever found yourself destroying a relationship intentionally or not...and if so what was the case.
A little late on this, sorry - but "YES".
It is easier for us to be alone. That way, we
- have responsibility only for our own self
and
- we never need to worry about someone leaving us for no good reason after investing our heart.
To prevent the latter - we drive you away with erratic behavior
which gives you CAUSE to go ... but WE are the one in control
of your decision in that case ... and we EXPECT it.
Thanks woman. *accepting hugs and squeezes* Many moons ago that was. We stayed on Moms farm for a time until I got on my feet. Though..I must admit that carat rock did yield much bounty in lieu of deposits for utilities. *grinning*

As a Scorpio myself, we are known to not be the most open of all the signs in the zodiac, rather we known to be secretive. I would say most of this is true to a certain degree.
But when we jump thereby taking the risk of finally believing and trusting someone, we can become the most open and vulnerable people around. Yet at the slightest feeling of uneasiness we will withdraw cold, and put up walls.
Now my question to you all, has anyone had an experience where you finally find that someone to confide in fully with trust, you open up spilling your guts, then suddenly one day you wake up feeling bare, exposed and empty therefore you either hide or detach? If it feels comfortable again in the future you may try to reconnect with them. For some I find our Scorpion Intensity when we spill our guts might 'kill' the others who do not live in this constant intensity, so much so that when we try to reconnect, we can not seem to bring them 'back to life'....
Even without seeing your username I'd be sure you're either you're a woman or
on strange drugs or both in order to be talking about your feelings in such
a hippie way ( that you "kill" then "resurrect" the confidante ).
But other than that part, I can totally relate. I do it once every 10 years
and then forget and learn a lesson that stays with me for the next 10 years.
We are such extremists that we either say NOTHING ( and seem cold )
or let ALL the feelings out and kinda scare people with or level of
intensity, which may see "obsessive" and even dangerous ...
and ONLY another Scorpio could EVER understand.
