Hmm..my ex Aqua hubby was so so. We are divorced now. LOL..
Not because of that, but I'm glad that I don't have to put up w/ it anymore. He had this thing where no matter what I suggested (how I liked to be touched, etc), he would always revert back to HIS way of doing things. It pissed me off! Who does that? And he didn't like talking about our sexual relationship either. At first I thought he was just shy so it wasn't a huge red flag in the beginning, but it should have been.
But his lack of initiation was a major problem across the board, hence the divorce. So, no, wouldn't put up with bad sex; don't delude yourself. Sex is sometimes the glue that keeps you going when everything else is shit, a way to reconnect. And if its BAD, uh, can you IMAGINE what hell you're in for being married to that? No way.

P-Angel, you've changed the topic, which is not whether or not I have seen him, it's whether or not it's strange that he didn't care that my friend died.
When we lived in the same country, we saw each other in person basically every single day for many years and even then he was more comfortable corresponding by email or text message.

I think the mile wide line between PDA and being sexually explicit in public has been clouded over the years. People see it differently. Maybe we need to establish the definition of PDA for each of us before we go further.
For me, PDA would be a touching their arm, arm on/around their shoulder, grasp of their hand or locking arms even if for a moment, holding hands, brushing their hair out of their face, light kiss maybe. I'm ok with this... hanging all over each other I'm not good with and run for freedom ASAP. Anything above an beyond that I find a bit insulting when having to view on a public street or in a family restaurant. Not that I'm jealous or a prude, I'm just conservative, old fashioned, and "proper" in my own way so-to-speak.

No one is being judgemental here. We're strangers to you so we can be more objective and offer you suggestions . We didn't "come inside" you like the irresponsible Aqua guy or got you confused and upset you by missing appointments with you. We're trying to be honest and tell it to you as gently as we can in the beginning but your story just seems weirder as time goes by. You obviously hope for something more with this guy but you keep "confusing" yourself with all these compromises. Then you end up getting defensive because if you being honest with yourself, it wasn't us that you're upset at the moment, it's the Aqua guy. So you came here hoping for some assurance, not advices and understand that but no one would be suggesting STD and stuff if it wasn't for your defensive attitude and your unwillingness to understand how dangerous it could be with the way you and him were doing. Also, yes I know you possibly a in love with this guy more than you think, that's why you ignore all the red signals he sends out and go with this one till the bitter end. For all he does, I think you're just one of the girls he's sleeping with. Don't just listen to a man's words , observe what he does. He could tell you that you're the only one, you're his queen but if that's true, you guys wont be in this position and you're here worriedand confused. To know it's truly love or just an addiction, observe your actions too. If youre not acting as your normal self and you seem to always find something wrong with the guy you're with. Listen to your intuition, you can save yourself more than you know.I'm also glad to hear you said that you'll be careful next time. Please remember that. Best of luck.
