You mean the cap is the non-pushover or the cap needs a non-pushover with softness?
I get the feeling with him that he keeps trying to do subtle things to make me get made at him - like he's expecting that reaction so that he can say 'see, I knew it' but I'm surprisingly calm in dealing with his ways - I talk through it calmly rather than reacting which I'm pretty sure is new to him... heh.
