I would have to agree with jlibra, Ive dated a scorpio man and he used to shut me out if I made him upset also, and if I didnt answer his calls right away, when I would call him back he wouldn't answer due to him being mad at me for not being available right then. Im currently seeing a gemini man and he loves to talk about everything and doesnt hold back anything, he reminds me so much of myself.
Wow Keef - that's a very inspiring story. Now if we could all be so strong, as to learn from our mistakes and overcome, we'd have a better world. I really admire your determination to break something that overpowered you, and, the ability to reflect on this in a possitive manner so you can apply it to your life today.
I use a lot of drugs, caffiene, nicotene, thc, to name a few and I wish I had the strength to overcome. Especially being a Pisces, weakness and the ability to give up easily comes natural. I do feel, though, with the thc, that the time frame in which I started to use was very influential. 'Back Then' we didn't have people who tried to tell us that it was ok to just say 'no'. Heck, it wasn't until the act in 1970, that the use was made illegal. One could order from a Sears catalouge, Opium, if that was the desire. I'm not making excuses and saying that it was society's fault. I'm just saying that if we had the encouragement that kids have today, then it would have been a lot different - we might not have been so accepting of the drug.

I commented on the who does drugs thread brahn that addiction is a disease including nicotine addiction. It's the tobacco industrys fault for putting out a product that they know would hook people over time and indiscriminately.I understand that natural tobacco is not addictive. I don't know I've never been a cigarette smoker,I like a cigar every now and then they taste good especially after I eat. I suppose you've tried the patch and the gum and hyptnotism,and acupunture,and african chew sticks,abstinence groups.Cigarettes are a beast, I have some acquaintances in the same quandry as you and their health,hell their lives are on the line. one is an ovarian cancer survivor and she can't quit the cigs. She has a strong will,but she can't quit the cigs. An older cousin of mine spent the last couple of years of his life hauling an oxygen tank around with him attached to a hose and a mask he'd wear. He had emphesyma from smoking all his life. I don't know what to tell you bud,I already believe you're a strong willed person. Pray. find something, there's all kind of research being done on helping people break the nicotine habit.
P-angel Great Post. Imagine a woman, rape victim, pregnant, destitute and in a country with no community support. If she cant have the basic necessities for herself, how is she going to feed the new life? It is under such circumstances that the traffiking of females and kids become rampant. Whats the use of bringing a child into a world of deprivation where s/he will be dying a thousand deaths eveyday. Isnt child abuse=murder?
one can go on for ever about this issue. the point is that the pro life debate is very rampant in western developed countries where the birth rate is low and falling. Where as in developing countries... there is no such debate as they have more peopel than their resources can take care of. So what does this mean? Should such a debate be victim of State Policy? cant we women for once take the matters which relate to our body and rights in our hand?..Cant we have State policies on women's rights be decided through women's perpective? I mean a woman stands to be made ot feel guilty if she doesnt want a baby .. but how about these men hanging their head in shame for killing so many innocents in a war/riot..in name of patriotism?

My experience with a Virgo (24 years) is similiar to all mentioned here, for in this time frame, I've seen every side of him. I think the biggest problem is in just understanding their nature. Everything to them has to have order, there can be no chaos and that includes thier feelings. That is why he is already planning the next encounter. Their thoughts cannot be scattered, or they think they will explode. Unfortunately, this means their feelings, as well. It's not that they don't feel, on the contrary, they are very deep people, alot of insight and very intuitive - but, expressing emotions and feelings verbally when it comes to anything that might effect their heart - is forbidden. They will talk about anything, all day long, if you get them going. But, feelings for you, he probably won't talk about because it makes him feel vulnerable. We all need a place to hide and this is Virgo's place. If he spills the beans, then your response might not be organized, might not be controlled, might not be logical - his head will explode at that point. Listen to some of the Virgo's talk in these threads and you will see that everything has a solution, nothing can left to chance. Self preservation is in warding off anything unpredictable.
My Virgo knows me well enough that he has learned to talk about his emotions because I won't have it any other way (I'm a Pisces) because living out my feelings is the only way I know how to exist. But, it took years and years and years and years and years and years - and then more years, to get him to fully trust that I can handle his openess without turning his world upside down.

Maybe that's why there is reincarnation. If you leave without a legacy, then you will be re-born time and time again until you leave something behind that WILL be remembered. If the world explodes, then it doesn't matter because there won't be anyone left to forget about you.
