@Playswitfire83 ahah OMG you told me the same thing my mom told me lol (: this is gonna sound very funny but I usually get my advice from her because my dad is a Libra so I see How she handles him lol (she's a Scorpio).. we haven't spoke in a month so Yea I'm seeing this is going to be a while but I'm up for it... So he wouldn't just tell me If he still had feelings for me he would show it? lol His status updates seem pretty depressing, crazy & weird since the break up could he be sorta showing it? Exactly, but the system is DESIGNED that way. It keeps some people at the bottom of the barrel. Who cares for addressing the root causes? It's not that we don't have time for it or we don't have any solutions. It's systematic and what makes up society are a bunch of sheep.
Look at feminism, the men up probably thought "well alright, let them make their money and do shyt they want and THINK there's equality"... in turn this hurts the family.. parents have no time to spend time with their children let alone have both parents in their lives. So you end up having kids running around with guns, because nobody can understand them. If they talk it sounds ridiculous to the other person. I read on the newspaper that the Colorado shooter would pay a whore not to have sex, but for someone to talk to. Imagine that? He wanted a therapist/friend who will listen to him for a reasonable price. I don't believe that people have to be medicated, to fix* mental problems. Sometimes the drug itself make the condition much worse or it doesn't mix well with other drugs. I know someone who took antidepressants before and just the fact that he was prescribed it (he didn't want it, it wasn't going to solve his problems), he actually became more distant and so engulfed in his own world.click to expand

^^^That's an interesting view. Though, if I'm understanding what you're saying, to me at least, I don't fully agree. I'd rather have a stranger give me an 'ego boost' rather than those close to me, because in a way, I feel they're almost obligated to. If you do well on a test and you come home to tell your parents, of course they're going to say 'good job, you're awesome', etc. Same with an s/o. While they're sincere most of the time, they're going to want to stay on your good side, too. I just feel like those things aren't as genuine and that they're more fake. But, if I stranger came up to me and said "Wow, good job on winning that art project. I saw it and it was really nice. You can be a professional!", it would have much more of an effect on me. But, as far as trusting goes, that would depend on how trusting you are as a person. I'm not worried about being back stabbed, etc, because to me, that kind of stuff dosn't hurt. I just move on from childish things like that. I don't have time to waste to stop and worry about whether people will turn around and do a 180 on me or not. I give compliments and 'ego boosts', because it's how I feel. I feel like it should be okay to say nice things that you mean. It's interesting to see other people's point of views on that.

it's always good to be suspicious. Watch your back. Cause you don't know if your promotion will be taken from right under you kind of thing. Of course, in general we'd love to believe all is roses and beautiful and everything but after awhile, *sigh*
you realise people are just out to get no.1 (for the most part) Thankfully not everyone. But! you never know. Even in competition for your hand in marriage. You don't know if the guy you're with is only going to want you for a "trophy" and because he has "IDEALISED" you? Then later, he's backstabbing you cause then you're not what he thought he'd want. But in the first place, he has never loved you because he has IDEALISED you and not loved you for who you are: flaws and all.
Also a stranger coming up to you because you did something beautiful, somethng artistic. What kind of stranger? Was it a man who thought you would look nice on his mantel?? You never know. He probably thought secretly your art wasn't all that but wanted YOU for a trophy instead. It's all perspective you see. Though in a work place, if you have a wonderful employer ect then you dont have to worry about getting taken in when the boss wants to give you a diamond necklace, wishing he could have you for more than dessert. *puke*
