Not to defeat the OP's point/question; but why do people maintain an 'either-or' mentality on this subject? The gray area is what should be taken into account, above all else.
IMO that whole Madonna-Wh0ar Complex is part of an old-world mindset, indicative of society's collective, skewed perspective of female sexuality.
