As a Virgo man who has made his rounds with women across the entire zodiac, I have to say at the end of the day I knew I has to come back home. Oh yeah, I loved water girls at one time, but the earth in me just needed a grounded woman. I dealt with fire women for a really rally long time. They were women who were upfront, direct, told you what they wanted, and it was so easy. The thing I always lacked with fire girls was the deep emotional connection, and the emotional stability. Then I started to find earth women, and they started to become more sexy to me. It was 'just right'. They had the sexual intensity of fire signs, the intellect of air signs, the emotional depth of water signs, but they had that earth that held everything together. I've met some great Scorpio women, some fantastic Pisces women, and some very inspirational Cancer women, but I know where my heart is. My heart is at home with earth girls.
Oh and this weekend I found out that Capricorn women aren't as bad as I thought they were. I use to not be able to get along with Cappies, but that seems to be changing. I think I'm starting to 'get it' now.

I'm just saying when men are young most of the time they are broke he said he couldn't stand them when he was younger. But he is older now with more money and power that is a magnate for caps.
Whether CluelessCancer is unaware of such books or not isn't the problem. She said the problem is that in comparison to the romance novels, those which cover female actualization are outnumbered. And even if THAT were untrue (doubt it but let's be hypothetical), its those books that sell waaayy more.

I'm not saying its a good thing it's sort of just how the world works. Women are more prized for their looks and men are more prized for their pocket books.
The reason it's easier for males to be more self actualized is because in the quest to achieve status it invokes deeper questions about one's self.
In the quest for becoming more attractive, your questions aren't "What am I good at? What do I enjoy doing? How can I turn that into a career? What can I offer society? What IS society? How do I see the world?.."
Your questions are on a more shallow plain and thus can't lead you to those kinds of questions and answers.
"How's my hair? Do these shoes match this dress? Lip gloss or lipstick?.."
And this is why I enjoyed reading the OP because it showed if nothing else a desire to be a deeper person.
