No. I tend to avoid Gemini men, or men with Gemini placements, because unless it's weighed down with Scorpio and Capricorn (like me) or other "trust worthy" signs like Pisces or Cancer, Gemini is not even something I want to deal with it in a romantic sense. NO THANK YOU.
I also learned that the main thing my Libra ex had going for him was his Scorpio Ascendant and Pisces Moon. When I had a Libra FWB, it was a mess. He was practically a player, but very good at it, because he didn't SEEM like a player...he had that romantic, boyish Libra facade.
I was just seeing an Aquarius, and he could be so indecisive. I need to do his chart. I still think he'll come back (we were just together Monday, he wanted to end it Friday, and I've noticed a pattern with him in the eight months I've known him).

But I don't care how low the cost of living is, I won't take a job for under 80k, and maybe 75k. I'm in my prime years, that's what I get offered these days. One day I won't get those type of offers anymore, so I'll enjoy them while I can.
I saw on divorce court a man whose wife was about to divorce him because this mindset trapped he and her into poverty late in life. They were in their late 50s. He got really sick and it destroyed their finances. He used to make 100s of 1000s a year. When he got better, he had this mindset and it made matters really unbearable.

Besides, your 'value' of earth signs is that they're the best and that isn't going to change because it's a stubborn belief that lacks logic. And those type of beliefs can't be argued since the other person refuses to accept reality...since reality isn't what they were aiming for to begin with. The rest of us seem to realize that. But, when we don't argue our sign...you think it's because we've got nothing on earth signs....yes, that all of sudden, our sign's positive traits suddenly disappear. That would make a lot of sense, right? No. But, once again, your belief isn't based on reality. I don't know why you expect people to argue against you when most of us realize this. Water vapor.
Anyone can make a valid argument that any sign or element is the best. But, that wouldn't fit with your own, deluded 'reality', so why ask for it? To find a way to boost your own sign up, which is really too easy for you since you lack that grounded logic and have the ability to make anything just in your own mind. The whole basis of this topic is one of the most stupid ones I've seen to date.

its possible. i used to make $ 35k when i came straight out of college.
let me be clear, im not mocking anyones' salary or their life style . i just know what i need to feel safe and secure in my relationships.
My first job out of college was $ 11 an hour. And I've made $ 40k in the past, but to be real with you, I was never happy with that salary. This is why I always live in a good neighborhood, because it drives me to want to make more. It allows me not to be complacent and always strive for more. I'm in the 6 figure range now, and that still isn't enough. I need to make $ 250k or even more. There is no such thing as too much money in my opinion. But I'm going to work for that $ 250k a year salary. Now 3 years ago I wanted to make $ 100k, 5 years ago I wanted to make $ 70k, 10 years ago I wanted to make $ 50k, etc. That's the way I think about life.click to expand

I've had more financial strife with a man that made more money than me than a man who didn't - snide comments, game-playing, power-plays, etc. Just something to consider, if you haven't dated that many men/women that made more money than you.
Is it that you are willing to put up with other things if he makes more money? He or she is probably banking on it. Power.
So, I know better and have always known better than to think that just because someone makes the same or more money than me, there's not going to be some financial strife. However in-the-box your thinking, there's an opportunity to be "got," just because you thought you knew.
I've experienced that the more money people have the more "survival of the fittest" their outlook tends to be. If and when money is taken out of the equation, I have a sneaking suspicion that that day will be forthcoming , we'll see who's truly fit. Your greatest assets are your mind, body and soul. And when someone is leading with money in a courtship, one of those "assets" is probably flawed.

I dated a millionaire who thought money equaled power in all situations and circumstances including relationships. He never thought about how his thoughts were not evidenced in his life. He had this habit of pointing out what he thought was missing materially in my life. He couldn't conceive that if I didn't have it, perhaps I don't want it or, it's not a priority? His ego wouldn't allow it. I actually appear to live below my means...or, at least I think so. He would actually taunt me about it, even though he knew how much money I made. What he wanted me to do was to ask him for it so, he could justify giving me stuff he wanted me to have. What he was trying to do was to trap me but, I was not materialistic so, it didn't work. It would have worked if money was a consideration in romantic love for me. For me, it is not so, it was an epic fail for him. So, I said to myself, why would he put money so far ahead in trying to attract me? Why not his personality or character? He was suspiciously withholding.
By the way, I have dated more guys that made less than me than guys who made the same or more. I simply think it's to be expected the higher your income. Every time I dated a man that made more, he lead with money to hide his character flaws. That's just my experience. The guys who made less, lead with their personality or character. I found them worthy of my love. I know that personality and character will serve us well when the day of reckoning comes.

In the same breath, no man that loves you or his self is going to allow poverty into your lives. You may not be rich but, shouldn't be impoverished.
