When my dvr cuts off the last 5 min or so of whatever show im taping.

When people ask really personal questions....I had this lady in my building on the first day I moved in, ask me how much my rent was o____O.

I just did a short presentation on Poe today. He was more than likely bipolar, which (the manic periods) would have helped his creativity a bit, but would have also led to his works getting darker and more twisted over time, since the disorder also worsens over time. A lot of important historical figures were bipolar, actually.
I had to read the Black Cat, recently, for that presentation. I really liked that story. The symbolism was pretty interesting. It was interesting to see how his mind was breaking down throughout the story (which seems to happen in a few of his other stories). I also had to reread the Tell Tale Heart, which just makes me sad. Poor old man. : (

He is not mad at you, maybe he just felt rejected when you didn't gave him answer on when you'll be seeing each other in person. Sometimes me as a Virgo if dont get a straight answer I would read it as NO so I guess he might have thought that you are no longer interested in him...

Yes and no. I like to engage in witty and stimulating conversation with men (depending on my mood that day), even if I am with someone. If the person appears to be showing an interest in me (meaning the conversation has now turned into something other than friendly banter) or the conversation gets close to the line of being inappropriate it will end.
...Deezie...your gifs make me uncomfortable. Gross.
But yeah. Well, at least we're safe for the most part, here, compared to other boards that get heavier drama. This will pass soon, hopefully!

I do believe in "the one". I think it happens when we least expect it, and not looking. I also believe we have life experience (some sooner than later) to get through before finding the "one". Meaning when he/she comes along, the little bumps and bruises are easier to get through together having had them prior to getting together. (if that makes sense)click to expand

I can take a step back and let this play out, I'm not interested in starting anything... I just want to be a good buddy and I feel betrayed, and misunderstood here. And yes, I can guarantee the work factor would have been a huge card.
Maybe, they thought cos I was tight with 'em I wouldn't mind missing the big event but it really was hurtful.
