Thank you very much seraph. You humble me with your response. You are right, I always question, what could I have done better, what more could I have done. I took all the steps I could at this point and put in the last step yesterday. I need to have faith and allow the chips fall where they do while being proactive and doing what I must to protect the most precious things in my life.

I second this. I either fall in love very quickly or not at all. It only takes a few weeks to tick all 6 boxes presented by Marmotini under "love", whereas none of those under "infatuation" usually applies to me.

Yes, that^^^ is love. If you're married to someone or in a long term relationship & can go to hell & back but come out stronger in the end, THAT'S LOVE. What else could it be? Money? Security? Sex? That essential ingredient was missing from your relationships because you we're probably in them for all the wrong reasons.

Yup.
Probably terrifying at some points- gruesome and dark. Perhaps a place of twisted psychedelic woods, demons and goblins hiding in the nooks and crannies. Yet- around the corner lies rolling green hills covered in poppies, randomly interrupted by a calm, freezing, azure hued sea. Wild white horses would be roaming the lands- uninhabited by human beings, untamed, and quite romantic. For my imagination..both light and dark, I believe, reigns supreme over the majority of my mind.
