I work with two of them and one is a former friend. All very selfish individuals and have no problem screwing others over for the sake of their current obsession/fling. But they're chicks. My last boss was one- she was okay. It's kinda sad that she stuck around with her douchey leo husband.
I do have an gay aqua friend. Never have had any issues with him.

yea, he's thrown it out there once but it was never really talked about. I was just getting out of a weird relationship, and he... just ended a four year engagement, I think we're both afraid of our past relationship habits soiling everything... I suppose time will tell... can't fix what's not broken.

I live in Cali though. That's how people are here, so I just assume they're lying and don't take anything they say seriously until they prove it through actions. Not just Gems, but people generally too.
I can't count how many times I've had people say something along the lines of "OMG I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE AWESOME/NICE/insert other bullshit here" only to never be invited out with them, they're never around to hang out, never show to my parties, etc.
There are days I have to bite my tongue and tell them that they're full of shit when they start on their fake tirades.
My Gem coworker/friend is notorious for this. A lot of talk, no action.

Now that I think about it, I have only had one friend who tried to mess with a guy I was dating behind my back and she was an Aqua. She tried to lie when I confronted her about it to.click to expand
The one I used to be friends with swore up and down I had practically become a bestie. Her husband comes back from Iraq and not only was I thrown on the back burner, I was treated like shit by both of them. She treated her own kids like shit for her husband (their step dad). I dropped her.
I found out from her ex that she had cheated on him as well. He also shared with me that she uses people, which explained her behavior when her husband came back. I was the stand in emotional support until he got back. Then it was "lol you don't matter. I have my dick that I can ride now."
I know it's crude, but if you think about it- it's essentially what it is. People do fucked up shit when they think with their nether regions.

I don't lie usually, I just avoid answering your question and that's caused by a few reasons.
Let me think.. when do I avoid answering?
1) When your questions annoy me, you're fishing for something I don't want to share
2) I cannot be bothered, you get on my nerves if you keep it up..
Yeah pretty much all boils down to 'I don't want to tell you this (at all or not yet)'.
If you don't get that, I'll verbally dance around the question. Push me and I'll just lie to get you off my back, in the end you usually just want to believe the lie more than the truth. I already predicted the outcome of the conversation and the possible answers.
Oh my God. I absolutely HATE when people fish for answers. My aqua ex did this all the fricking time. He knows I hate it. And, somehow, he'd be satisfied when I gave in and told him what he wants to hear...even though he knows I don't mean it. That rarely happens, though. I usually just tell him 'No. I'm not answering you because you're fishing.' and he gets really upset. I'm not sorry.
