I seem to be able to instinctively tell time (regardless of the time of day) so I don't set an alarm. I usually wake up just before sunrise regardless. My ideal alarm though, this time of year I absolutely LOVE to rise to the first bird songs of the morning 
Sutekh, I only know the family I worked for (& their extended family), and all were very nice people. Very loud too lol. That family gave me my 1st brake in life after a VERY dark period in my life & never asked for a dime back, so I'll be forever grateful to them. I never forget a good deed. I dont know about the rest of Italians, but they're definitely the fantastic kind. Lmao, they even tried to hook me up with some Armando guy I didnt feel at all..no thanks haha.
