I have two Pisces in my life that are very close to me ??? my grandmother and my daughter. I want to let everyone know this so I can add some validity to my observation.
I am working with my daughter on selfish right now (or rather the characteristics of being self-absorbed and self-involved. There is a slight difference) - the deeper meaning of the word. I used an episode of ???House?? to illustrate this to her as I noticed the development and the obstinate selfishness. This particular episode of ???House?? is where Wilson??s best friend has a re-occurrence of Cancer. Wilson??s selfishness was fully examined - lifelong overcompensation; how it is disguised and thus he is mis-perceived by others as being nice, considerate, and conscientious; and, the choices he has made.
Children tend to be selfish in general so, this is not necessarily an attribute of my daughter but it is a serious concern because she is a Pisces and it can develop into a permanent characteristic. My daughter is conscientious ??? even her teachers recognize it so, the development of selfish characteristics were perplexing. First, I talked about the fact and my knowing that young girls her age are using the word a lot with each other and I told her that their usage is a petty application of the word. I've been trying to teach and show my daughter that House is the most caring person on the show. It is disguised because he is a realist. I am an idealist. I find that Pisces tend to be romanticist.
Pisces romanticism (Neptune) is the source of all the negative perceptions of them. Key words to describe Neptune are spirituality, dreams, illusions, imagination, idealism; however, I replace ???idealism?? with ???romanticism.?? Pisces tend to want everything to be romantic. Life has very few opportunities for romanticism. The perception of selfishness, lying, narcissism, manipulation, and addiction come from obstinate romanticism in some ??? a refusal or inability to be realistic in the most appropriate times. Doing so is self-absorbed.
Romanticism is most appropriate in art ??? fashion, music, art, cooking, party planning, religion, romantic love, etc. That why they make fabulous artists ??? seeing the world through this romantic lens.

My grandmother was a chef. She was not a liar. She was extremely romantic and when the world did not conform to her romantic lens, she was depressed. My grandmother was a depressive and fought addiction. She had a food addiction and had to deal with obesity. I would often see her alone in the kitchen depressed and eating.
I am not worried about my daughter. She has Jupiter exalted in Cancer and Jupiter is her #1 most dominant planets, right on the cusp of her 1st and 2nd house but, reads in the 1st house. However, she is a Gemini Ascendant. Pisces is co-ruled by Jupiter and Neptune. Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius and Pisces and exalted in Cancer.
I am concerned, however, about the development of narcissism. My Libra mother is a narcissist and diagnosed as having the anti-social personality disorder. My mother??s #1 most dominant planet is Jupiter as well. She too has Jupiter exalted in Cancer. Her Jupiter is evenly aspected as far as negative/positive aspects. No matter what my mother did or what others did to her, she came out smelling like a rose. People were waiting for karma in my mother??s life. And it was common for everyone to say, ???no matter what she does, she comes out smelling like a rose.?? She gave me a wonderful decadent life. However, I was exposed to the darker aspects of life at a young age. She has Jupiter in the 8th.

I feel as if you're looking for answers in the wrong place. I can keep going over this with you but i think what i'm saying is what you don't want to hear. The only person that truly understands these actions are him but i will say that the outcome does not sound positive if you choose to pursue him.
