Rocky I am using splenda for few years now. I had to stop using sugar because of the family history of sugar. I am thinking to change again because of all the chemicals and I don't want to go back to regular sugar. I am thinking about substituting it with honey. What do u think about honey and sugar intake?

Splenda is questionable as what it does to your body. They compare it's effects to that of DDT or whatever pesticide it is. Kinda scurry. Honey, agave nectar, etc are good substitutes. You'd just have to see what the sugar content is and watch from there.

Tea is already diet and calorie free if it's freshly brewed! This is why I lol at "diet" teas. The only reason they're "diet" is because they were processed with a lot of sugar that added calories. Brewed tea is already calorie and sugar free.
Also, the problem with a lot of stevia based sweetners is that they have additives in them. They're an improvement, but still have chemically altered bs in them. I went on a hunt for sweeteners for diabetics (for my mom) and I swear, it's a fricken losing battle. In the meantime, I've blended splenda with a sugar that's not as processed until I can find something more suitable.
A little tidbit- I found that if I'm craving sugary sweets, I just take a small drink of juice, have a piece of fruit, etc. and it satiates that craving.
