Perhaps you could spend more time exclusively with him, and be patient. Any child with emotional problems needs thoughtful nurturing. If he really is wise beyond his years and sensitive, you will grow on him gradually, and respect will follow. Once you settle into this rhythm, you could talk to him about his behaviour - tactfully. It will take time, but he'll change.

Sorry but i think the person is not interested. They may not know how to tell your or scared to tell you or do not want to hurt your feelings.
Personally for myself if i am not interested i will drop some obvious hints if they do not get it i let them know how i feel.
Play and simple and no games. But that is just me.
But if im interested i will let her know or show them somehow actions/emotions!

Ok, as you all know physical abuse can land you into a heap a trouble.
The typical physical/psycho-emotional abuse usually consists of the man beating up his wife or girfriend.
Bad, not good at all.
However, the woman might verbally abuse the man. Nagging, put downs, etc. until one day... he snaps and
any and all potential for violence to follow dramatically increases.
Nothing is ever said about the psychological or emotional abuse perpetrated by the woman before the man
snapped and hauled off and slapped her.
I may be out of the loop, here, but are there any laws against psychological and emotional abuse?
