This is a trip to read. I'm a Cancer and my ex is a Gemini. I experienced nearly the same thing when I met his friends early on in our relationship. A female friend of his was super jealous of me and kept literally hanging on to him and really making me uncomfortable. My ex didn't try to do anything to put space between them either and it was hurtful to me and I let him know about it. He got all angry on me (he's bipolar) but we worked it out and his "friend" exited the scene because she couldn't handle the fact he was dating me. It's funny cause I chalked it up to him being a very friendly gemini who had lots of female friends. That wasn't the issue. The inappropriate touching and pulling me aside to tell me in private that my ex was very special to her and that she didn't want me getting in the way. Seriously creepy.
But this man's a Cancer. This doesn't sound like a Cancer move to me. My take on this is that he had this extra touchy buddy buddy friendship with this woman who may or may not have been only a friend and now you're in the scene and he's afraid to change the dynamics of his relationship with her. In some ways male/female friends can engage in a faux romance as a kind of consolation prize for being single. They give each other the support they aren't getting from a partner but then when one person gets involved it becomes awkward. This is why having good boundaries in these kinds of friendships is key to their longevity. You don't have to worry about this stuff if you never over sexualized the friendship to begin with.
Thing is you NEED to tell him how this makes you feel and find out what's the deal with this woman. He needs to know her actions don't make you feel comfortable. If he cares for you, he'll chill out and set some better boundaries in the future. Good luck!

My thoughts would be, for your ego, you'd chase him down to get him back but if you truly loved him you'd let him go to sort it out himself, whether he comes back or not.

The first month or two I'd be calling the guy like crazy, then I decided he can make up his mind.
Sigh... The thing is, whenever I stop calling, the guy would want to stay friends and treat me much nicer than when we were dating, prob out of guilt.

Libra men are hard work, I met mine 3 months ago, at the moment he is so stressed and had to go away on business which he has discussed with me, he said he would be gone approx a week, what does that mean. I sent him a friendly text cos I missed him but got no reply it has now been a week since he has gone away and he has not contacted me at all even though I asked him to keep in touch, I won't be texting again, if he does contact me again, I will be busy, this is no way to treat people.
