you can tell how close you are by what you're attracting. an accurate personal assessment is more important than recycling the same characters and hoping for a different outcome. sure, you could win the lottery but there's not substitute for hard work. some things shouldn't be left to chance.
and it only takes one to change your mind/perspective.
Thanks for the state the obvious tidbit. My life will now be complete with this sudden revelation.
Also, if you think this is the cure all solution to the crazies in the dating pool, you clearly don't know what it's like to be a female in dating.

A few good friends of mine are of this mindset. Having known these folks for ages, it's fair to say they're never truly content bouncing back and forth, more like a junkie chasing the dragon.
There have been times they opted to scrape the bottom of the barrel, instead of sticking it out and looking/waiting for someone worthwhile, or at least holding off from relationships until coming to terms with the previous recent breakup.

Nothing came of this. The other night I fell asleep and I was not able to respond to his text messages. He proceeded to call me literally TEN times (in a row!!). When I eventually saw this, I asked him why he called me that many times, and he asked me why I was being mean. I explained that I was asleep, and everything was cool. I still thought that was a bit on the clingy side. lol But as of today, I haven't heard from him in about a week and a half. I'm thinking he gave up because I wasn't able to text him every second of the day. I realize now that I will go to Cali, but for my own reasoning. I really liked this dude, always have, but it seems he has some issues. Oh well. Moving on. x)
Why do I know that although you are going to "Cali" for your own reasoning, he's going to find out because Aries don't accept rejection? You might be moving on, but I see a very clear picture here

Well if you had your arms around another man, that really does not look too good and yeah a Cancer will flip over that. Shoot, most men would. I imagine you have already laid your cards on the table and he's being resolute. How would you feel about asking him out to do something fun as friends and starting again slow? If he's not open to that well then it really does seem hopeless here cuz it takes 2 to tango. I can really appreciate how past romantic letdowns can make you insecure and self-destructive. Been there. Done that. Have the commemorative T. It's live and learn for us all.
