This guy seems selfish, so lets push the thought of him to the side for a minute, and lets talk about you. Friendlashionship? What is that? Me thinks your inability to know in your heart whose heart you want is putting you in situations where almost anything goes. Id say give it a permanent rest with him, and figure out who you are and what you want. Its what my Cap friend told me to do last week. I see how our kind can send mixed signals. Its you as much as its him.

That is actually a great idea and a nice illustration with the pic???I can imagine you wearing the perfect dress that shows it off! I'm much like you and still tinkering with ideas but I know thus next one will take up most of my arm. I'm even thinking about one covering my back. How long have you had yours? Do you have set limit on the number you'd like to get?

The difference is he is consistent this time. He used to be hot and cold when we were dating and used to ignore me for days. Now he responds to my email within a couple of hours and apologizes if he responds the next day--he's been consistent since mid-March.
You are basing your assessment of him "changing" on just approx 2 months? Again, like I said you seem to be justifying your willingness to accept his behaviour.

Another difference is he shows up on time now. He used to be 30 min to an hour late when we were dating, but I haven't been waiting for him this time around. I don't see why he wanted to fix those things I complained about in the past if he didn't feel guilty? We did have sex once in April, but ever since, we met at public places. He told me he was too attracted to me and he felt bad for thinking about that kind of things.
These are all things he should be doing. He doesn't get a gold star because he's doing it now. This really doesn't say much to me.

thank you all for the feedback. you guys do help me think. i feel its clearer now.
my conclusion so far:
if I want him back, its pure ego; if I still love him, we should strictly be friends, nothing physical. (I don't think I truly love him now, otherwise I wouldn't be thinking about getting him into trouble with her that kind of negative stuff. it's def not love.)
i guess it doesn't matter if he's changed or not, he should've been this way beginning to end.

Can't say for all geminis... but if I were him, I would appreciate an honest explanation better than flowers. I think... we geminis are less romantic than libras... (in general, I am speaking) and he's a guy - romantic gifts (such as flowers) don't do much work for men usually. Again, be honest and clear. We appreciate logical and rational explanations most of the time.
I think it's a good sign that your guy did not respond to your messages in a rude manner, like the examples you presented.
It'd take about two weeks to recover... I guess (or three weeks to max,) if I were in the case. But I'm guessing here. Everyone is different so I can't guarantee. However, we geminis are known for being quick (or impatient? lol), so decision making won't take too long, like a month or two. I personally don't see it happening lol We think lots, we analyze... on facts. So give him something to analyze - your explanation. The other night he must've felt awkward and lost since there was nothing (you did not reply to his confession, thus no data whatsoever) to process over methinks. (And flowers are too vague, I think. A clear explanation would be much better imo)
+1, with the exception that it would take me only a few days to respond to you. You didn't cheat so I wouldn't let it drag on especially since you provided an explanation. That's taken into consideration, so it looks good so far, but if the silence extends beyond a couple of weeks, unless death or a coma a gem would be a looking for yah. As for a romantic gesture....I would have to read up on that...
