Are there any ladies who don't desire to be with an artist or a musician? I mean I've known a lot of women who are good women, and they end up with good for nothing lazy pieces of shits who are 'artist'. I mean I use to wonder about a woman's self esteem who dealt with these men, but a lot of times the women appear to have a good head on their shoulders and a decent self esteem. I think the common thread here is that most of the time these guys are some sort of artist (often a musician though). Seems like women are so willing to forget any stanadard that they have when a musician or artist guy gets on the scene. and it seems like when a woman think of a perfect suitor he's almost always some sort of musician or artist. Do women ever like realistically just want a regular guy with a decent corporate job, or a guy with a good investment portofolio? I mean it seems like the time when a guy's practical finances become a priority to women is when they get older.
Honestly, I've only dated artists......just because we have the common ground off beat sense of humors..and they won't call me 'crazy' for doing crazier things...actually i get called crazy when I'm being normal lol. hmmmm
They tend to be very feminine and I don't dig that.

Artist are generally bad at business. There are exceptions of course, but for the most part they aren't good at buisiness. Afterall, business itself is an art form on it's own, and many people have a hard time considering business art. I've found that in business you either "get it" or you don't. Most artist don't get it though. In general, most women don't deal with artist who has made a dime from their "art", but insist on making a living doing this "art".
You know, sometimes you speak with such conviction like you KNOW FOR SURE of things. If what is the big deal with someone dating an artist. Is this taking from your supply of so many women you want to BANG? I mean really dude. Is it that many women you talked to that you feel like it is DEFINITE that a woman wants to date or be with an artist? Even if it was true. WHO THE HELL CARES???!! LOL

Any one of us who aren't handed things know we've got bills to pay and at the end of the day a lot of artists still work 9-5s.
If a woman wants to be with an "artist" that's her choice, just like if she wanted to be with some cat who's gonna treat her like shit.
I know i'm not going anywhere with music by any means, but I'll still get a job and do what I have to and enjoy making music and getting whatever I can out of it.
I agree, but there are some people that don't get jobs to make sure they are focused on their craft. However, I don't think that is many in the bunch that can do that.

FUCK. My exs sister wrote me on Facebook. Tried to do the classy thing and just skate out of it politely, short response...cause he obviously didn't tell her we broke up....and she keeps writing me...and keeps inviting me to Montreal.

Thank you....I did, I told him that I just felt like he wasn't interested and like we were on 2 different pages. Hours later he came back with "look lets just be friends and we'll see what comes out of that. For now if you don't want that then just say." I'm sure I can find billions of examples of artist getting screwed in businesss. As a matter of fact, you can look at most musicians and what happens to them. Musicians lock themselves in shitty deals with record companies. And they don't seem to mind it, as long as long as people get to hear their music. Did you know a lot of popular musicians are actually broke? How can an artist sell multi million albums and then be broke a few years later? A lot of time it isn't bad purchases. A lot of times managers take their money, and they have no idea how to get their money back. A ton of examples like this exist. You can profit off of art, don't get me wrong. But artistic people are in general not good in matters of business.click to expand
I think it is more of a thing that some people might not have really read the fine print. Had lawyers or lawyers that were on their side. There are many people that go into things blindly, but after those things you learn. It is like any of us doing what we do now. It is only blown up because they are in the Spot Light. I think we all go through that or something similar at one point or another.

For some odd reason drinking just does not work for me. ill end up sulking in the fact that my mind is torturing me with a million thoughts of if's, and's, & but's.. so to speak. reading doesnt usually help either but i will definitely look into that book by Stephen King. Thank you (:
