Sure! though its not something I will start a conversation with, if she asks and seems genuinely interested, why not? If you refuse to tell that means you have something to hide and thats not good for the building of trust in a relationship, Im too open and open-minded not to share who I was before I met her.
Oh no it's over. You can forget that. That probably gave him trauma. We have the best memories and probably plays that over in his head. Leave him alone or could experience some 1st class anger. Perhaps you can just let this be your lesson learned.

To answer the question, I think this applies for when the man is losing interest in the woman. It works both ways. A woman would feel the same way about a man if she was losing interest, at least that's how I am.
I've noticed sometimes that the more you distance yourself, the tighter the cling becomes. It's the loss of balance.
A healthy relationship can even teeter totter in this type of dynamic, but there must be balance always.click to expand
At times I find this sentiment puzzling. It seems that the balance that the sexes go for is based more on tension rather than a peaceful harmony. Like in GCs thread for example. I'm not knocking anybody for their dating preferences but it seems like the overall balance is maintaining a balance between light and dark sides rather than pushing beyond that balance a recreating it on a more positive note.
In real terms, whatever happened to valuing and sexually responding or craving a man who nit only treats you with respect but is also a great father or something? At some point the spirit is like stop this tension I need peace lol! I guess I'm an old fart _???

Fear is something I'd rather not live with, a lot of people are afraid of losing their partners if they are too honest about such stuff, if my partner thinks Im not good enough for her because of my past, then thats more like her problem than mine. The past is what made you who you are today, the person she felt in love with, and if she cant accept my past, then that means she cant accept who I am. That is not my problem.
